We showed up at the office 40 minutes before closing time, expecting to see a lineup and not being able to get our passports renewed. We were very pleasantly surprised to see no one in the waiting area! We were greeted warmly and taken right in to a cubicle to be helped. Trudy was very outgoing, friendly and made our visit to the office very enjoyable. When we were walking out to our vehicle, I even said to my husband that I’d never had such a pleasant experience in a government office before!!

Drove down here from Calgary to submit my passport application as this location had appointments available at the time. When I called Passport Canada to get a status on my application 11 weeks after submitting my application here, I was informed that the staff member helping me failed to scan the first page of my application to Passport Canada. My application was in limbo and was never completed for this reason. I specifically wanted an in-person appointment to ensure no mistakes with my application would occur. Unfortunately I had to submit a completely new application to get my passport due to this staff members mistake.

Avoid this office like the plague! When they go on breaks, they just lock the door and put up a sign that says "back in 15 minutes". Then they sit around waiting for the break to be over. Even in freezing conditions, you have to wait outside. Comment from the security officer (who is too old and too slow to really do anything about security) is: " We don't care! " A real great representation of Canada Services?!

Office number 4875, is the most unprofessional officer here. She takes 45 minutes break and still comes back does not take any one for another 30Minutes. I wondered whether because I was black. She was all the time on her phone as we were all waiting. Poor customer relations, She acted really un professional ,

Staff was kind and very professional. No wait time in the office and passports were back to us in less than a month. Amazing service!
