Last month while on holidays in Mexico I found out. I missed a step, came crashing down and broke my hip. Western General had placed my travel insurance with TuGo Insurance and thanks to good friends, my daughter in Calgary and TuGo's claim department the wheels were immediately in motion to get me back to Calgary. Within 2 days I was on Regent Air Ambulance (excellent medi plane) on my way home. We were met by an ambulance and I was transported to South Health Campus Hospital and in surgery a day later. After 2 weeks in hospital I am now home and on the path to recovery. I am so thankful to all who helped me through this traumatic experience.
