Carso Studio – a month ago :

Considering the lack of options around this area, this is not a terrible cafe. However, here are the few negatives to note: - the food was very mediocre as we got the pizza bagels and Mac and cheese but all of them did not have that much taste - we asked if they had any pizza and tried to order it, but we were told they are out for today as they were quite busy; but shortly after, we saw multiple slices of pizza getting ordered (maybe like 2 whole pizzas) - we tried to connect to wifi from the cafe and asked for help but were told to just connect to it but it didn’t work on any of our phones - price point of items were slightly high for the quality of food

I got coffee here almost every day we stayed in Lake Louise Village. The staff were always nice to me. Depending on time of day and such it can be crowded with a line, or walk right up with no line. They have a few indoor tables to eat at, and then behind the building there are some outdoor seating areas as well.

Here's a 5-star review for Laggan's Mountain Bakery and Deli: "Laggan's Mountain Bakery and Deli exceeded all expectations! The pizza was absolutely amazing, and the raspberry Danish was a delightful treat. The coffee was perfectly hot and expertly prepared, adding to the overall wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. Every bite of food was delicious, making it a must-visit place for anyone looking for coffee and savory food on the go."

The $8 Beef pie appears to have no beef. I have a beef with that. Pastry is good though.

We ordered a meat pie each and the quality was consistently bad in our opinion. Flakey floury pastry - good thing they included a fork as you couldn't lift it out of the foill tray. Both had largish chunks of meat that were far from tender and some pieces with gristle. Gravy thin and more suited to chicken than beef pie. Shop looked nice and other food may be OK however I would not recomed the pies.
