I needed home insurance in December 2020, so I went into the office to discuss rates, found a suitable provider and signed the documents. The monthly premium was $80 more than what they quoted me, they said they would fix it and it still ended up being $35 more than the quoted rate so I cancelled 2 months later. Last week (7 months later), I receive a final notice for collections for this policy, I had no idea I owed money! I called them to explain what is going on and they basically said its my problem and I need to call the 3rd party company myself. Waited an hour on hold with Pembridge and they've told me Chaparral should have helped me with this, I'll be filing a complaint.
