If there was a negative 50000000000000 rating that would be more suitable. Do your research and do not use them. Read the comments. We were dropped as clients 2 days prior to resigning and received a letter with no explanation except for that it was because we had a fire….I thought this is why you had insurance? The house was on fire over a year ago and is still not finished. It has been the most stressful and worst experience dealing with this insurance company. We have went through 2 different agents after ours was fired. This is unacceptable.
Absolutely horrible customer service. We hit a deer in December. Our agent has been dragging her feet and completely unreliable. It is near impossible to talk to anyone or get an email response in a timely manner. Apparently a check was issued January 10th and we still have seen no sign of it. But of course the company demanded we turn our rental vehicle in within 2 days of "issuing" the check so we have been without a replacement for almost a month!! How is it that Wawanesa can take money out of my bank account every month but somehow they are incapable of paying me for my vehicle!?? We will be shopping around for a new insurance company.
I noticed today that my car insurance is being withdrawn twice within days of each other, one on the set withdrawal date of the 27th, one yesterday. This is not the first time this has happened, and I have bank statements to prove it. I have never missed a payment as they are auto withdrawn. Withdrawing randomly when I’ve already paid is an extreme breach of trust, or as some people call it, stealing. I’ve tried to call customer service, a toll free line anywhere and can’t get ahold of anyone until Monday.
Can't get a gold of any of the adjustors. Was told three days to get a decision on fix vs totaled for my van. It's been over 3 weeks and no further communication. Doesn't answer phone, or emails. Can't get info direct from shop. They flat out took my vehicle and won't talk to me. Been with wawanesa through Mckillop for decades. We'll be looking elsewhere. Steph Rodriguez hope you enjoyed your vacation, would have been nice if you came to office for more than changing your voice-mail.
BEWARE: DO NOT go through Wawanesa for insurance they will rip you off and make excuses. If I could give Wawanesa a zero star I would. They take out money when ever they want. They have changed there amount with us without us being informed causing us an NSF fee charge which they wouldn't cover. Their excuse was we mailed a letter informing you therefore they aren't responsible. We didn't recieve that letter in time of the payment that was pulled. So for some reason its still our fault. Yesterday they took a 145 payment from our new account which we informed them payments will now come out of. Than wake up to finding out they took another 400 payment from our old account which has caused another NSF fee. Its been constant issues with this company through the last couple years. They don't even answer all our questions when we are trying to find out what's going on. We will be looking into switching insurances hopefully by next year even if we can't do monthly payments and have to make a full year payment just so we don't have give our money to this incompetent company.
