These people have a serious attitude problem. I inquired about the distance-based discount, but the lady at the counter didn't even check my odometer reading and told me to calculate it myself. They didn’t stamp my insurance paper or ask for my signature, and even told me not to show my face there again. I feel sorry for them; it seems they don't get as much business as they used to. I went to Insurance BC in Sardis, where the lady called ICBC and they processed the renewal properly.

Got there at 9:00 am, waited around till 9:15. The staff in store said they are often a little late as they have to drive from Abbotsford. When I questioned the older Indian man in charge he gave me instant attitude with no apology. He was very unprofessional. If you have things to do do not bother waiting around for them. Be making a call to head quarters as well.

It’s astonishing how unknowledgeable this Sussex location located in the Sardis Promontory Save On Foods is. I recently purchased a vehicle which fell under the category of a value less than the generated black book value due to needing work and repairs. I had put on a Temporary Operating Permit a day previous to have an appraisal, but the appointment got rescheduled for today. I went into this location as it is close to a site I was working on. I took in all my documents that I had done the day previous at a Westland location. I found it interesting how the older South Asian manager, possibly owner mentioned that I would not be able to proceed with the same process I had done a day earlier. In speaking with him, he reassured me that he had been doing insurance for 20 years and questioned if I know better than him? I do not claim to know more, as I’m not an insurance agent. I simply showed him the exact paperwork and Temporary Operating Permit from the day before, but he still refused to do it. I left and went down to the Westland Insurance at Garrison Village located in the Envision Financial building and within ten minutes I had the necessary permit to have my vehicle appraised. In short, I do not claim to know more than the gentleman at this location but your entitled defensive attitude towards clients makes you look like a knob. It’s fair to be confident in your work knowledge when you’re right, but not when you are wrong. It’s apparent that your ego of years of experience has surpassed your ability to learn the accessible outlines and protocols of an evolving ICBC system & MVA. This m renders you and your company ineffective to both ICBC & customers. Do yourself a favour, save your time and go see the staff at Westland Insurance for your needs.

I had dealt with this insurance company for the last few years and up until this recent experience they had been great, but this will be the last time! They had informed me my paperwork would be ready for pick up and it was not ready when my partner went there on my behalf (co-insured on policy). I called to request that they email me the paperwork instead, and I sat on the phone for 10 minutes while he tried to track down my policy. On top of this, the man on the phone asked me whether I was “demanding” or “asking” for my paperwork while dealing with a fussy toddler and trying to get dinner ready. Excuse me? You didn’t follow through with what you originally relayed and now you want to give me a hard time b/c your company is disorganized and want me to beg for my paperwork? Wow! Never again!!!

Very rude people first the guy couldn't or wouldn't listen then passed me on to a girl who spoke to me like I was beneath her then hung up on me. Tried calling back hung up again. So rude.
