Whenever I have to buy travel insurance, I trust BCAA. They offer courteous, knowledgeable and efficient service over the phone or in their office. They take the time to ask pertinent questions to ensure they understand my needs, then make recommendation.

Sent me an email that my car insurance had been renewed. Find out a month later that they did not renew my insurance. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor, I will have to wait 48 hours to speak with someone. 33 years as a member and I can't even speak to a supervisor. BCAA has become a joke. Don't bother getting a membership. Its become worthless.

Awesome service. Arrived near closing but employees stayed after to get me sorted. Nice people and very attentitice pointed out and corrected a lapse in vehicle insurance that could have been very costly

Horrific Service , uncaring and lazy . THEY WILL TAKE THE COMMISSION FOR SELLING YOU A POLICY ...THEN SHUT THE DOOR ON YOU ! They are even closed Saturdays it says? ....really? How out of touch ! The the issue of experience ----On advise from ICBC I went back to my BCAA broker to have some very basic insurance questions answered about my AutoPlan policy that I bought from them and some suggested adjustments. It needed to be updated and changed via some paper work and a form sent in - simple right ? . I asked my BCAA Rep/'Broker' to mail the paperwork into ICBC which they sell for . Get this... the broker said "we have no way to get your paperwork to ICBC , we can only mail paper work to the BCAA head office.It will never get to ICBC .You will have to mail it !" .I almost fell off my chair ! You're kidding me? After they collected $251.73 in commissions for selling me a policy(s) , they cant stick a form in inter-office mail or get it to ICBC?. Cheap, afraid and uncaring would summarize my experience with this Courtenay branch! Suggestion - Spend a dime and mail that information for your clients! WARNING - a inside person told me they do many of their own reviews here as it is scanned by their "leadership" team . So many of the multiple stars are self-generated. Obviously this location has VERY poor leadership to have staff interact with clients in such a way and wont go the distance to mail a form into their Insurer that they represent . Horrible service ! I pay for an Elite membership for this horrible woke organization and get this treatment ? Mail the bloody form , smile, get the job done, and educate yourself vis-à-vis insurance contract basics. I would suggest to record EVERY conversation you have with the staff/management here at this location as odd and wrong information is given by the minute.Shocking! This broker used to be absolutely the best. Now, one star at best. Sad devaluation of this organization who seems more concerned with DEI / 'Wokeness' than fulfilling clients needs . Pity .
