Hands down, Kevin Yamaoka is the Best "Insurance Advisor" I ever met! Highly knowledgeable, very efficient and personable. Just a really nice guy! :) I went into to see about house insurance (I always renew my car insurance there and I am always seen promptly, professionally and just as important, courteously - honestly, KUDOS to the whole team there :). Kevin saw me right there and then when I went in and within a half hour of discussing my needs, he had 3 quotes and a spreadsheet with all my options and prices. It was really quite an easy decision to switch brokers as my former broker went corporate and has no customer service skills whatsoever. Plus, and here is the added bonus, Kevin saved me over half!!! on my policy going with Intact Insurance! Half! That's HUGE! :) He is also licensed in Alberta and my son who has an acreage out there will give him a call renewal time! I had to put that little plug in there for Kevin because he saved me over half!!! I still can't get over that in a very good way. Sue Kaloty has consistently provided us with excellent customer service and support for the last 10 years. A couple of times over the years we have found ourselves in a more complicated situation with our insurance requirements and she has always risen to the challenge to find a good solution. Received my condo insurance renewal by email recently and was shocked that it had almost doubled. Went into the office on Lakeshore… met with Cara Woods who was shocked too… she reviewed the file fully…. Updated information and corrected number of errors with the end result being my insurance ended up being $5 less than last year instead of $1200 more. Cara was great…no wonder she is team leader!!
