Western Financial Group Inc. - Canada's Insurance Broker 2220 Bowen Rd Suite 20

Little has been done about my residential insurance claim regarding my house. The claim was made on May 2, 2024. I did a follow up call to Intact Insurance on August 5, 2024 to see what their 90 plus day hold up is. I wanted to know if it was me holding up the "written OK to proceed with the remediation work, or if there is another problem". The Alberta adjuster's telephone message said "I will be out of the office till Monday, June 3". I take that to be 2024, or 2 months old. ...I think I can see where there is a problem. I would like to add that the staff at all the Nanaimo Western Financial offices that I have dealt with for many years are very pleasant and knowledgeable. They are the ones that have built the business. I am wondering if they are aware that the Intact support staff appears to be lacking. I am looking forward to some positive results here.

Excellent customer service provided by Tracey (Nanaimo 2220 Bowen Rd). She took the time to guide us to find a non standard house insurance policy, with both the best & most economical terms. We not only saved money vs our previous insurer, but found an agent who really cares. Thank you Tracey!!

Quite a good place to do your vehicle insurance. The place is quite spacious and clean. They have covid precautions in place such as hand sanitezers and plastic barriers so it feels a lot safer. Parking can be spotty due to its closeness to the street. Location wise it's easy to get to and hard to miss. All in all not a bad black to do your vehicle insurance.

Western Financial does not renew your ICBC coverage when you renew your third party insurance. I was hit with a ticket today because I unknowingly did not have ICBC coverage. After reviewing my emails, and texts I was not notified once that my ICBC insurance needed to be renewed. Thank you Western Family for the ticket I received today

Working with Debbie was very pleasant. My friend had a complicated case to transfer titles for 5 vehicles, and Debbie was very efficient and patient. This case had been lasted for over a year and finally when all material was ready, Debbie did her best to get the job done quickly and completely. Her willing to help attitude and efficiency brought a great relief to my friend. Thank you very much Debbie :) Way to go !
