It's a shame. I used to go here with my family (since the late 70s for them) for all insurance needs until during the height of the pandemic they're only open 08:00-16:00 M-F when our entire family had to move our needs elsewhere. It was way too inconvenient because I work their same hours as their operating hours during the pandemic so they were never open outside of my shifts, sometimes even closing early. I see now they've reverted their hours closer to their pre-pandemic operation hours (still reduced compared to their original hours; I remembered they used to be open until 7pm) so it's a bit more manageable but unfortunately already switched to a different firm. It's a shame because they were 5 stars up until 2019, and then it was really spotty during the pandemic years (had to lump my breaks and travel to renew only to be in a long lineup and returned back to work late or showed up to the pemises closed early). I still recommend others this place because there's a person who I used to like having my insurance renewed with. Haven't seen this person in a while so presuming he retired but there was this one agent during the pandemic whom I didn't care for; she kinda ruined the experience but at this point unsure if she still works there. The rest seemed alright.

Today we received a letter saying our insurance is expiring at the 6 month mark. It came as a surprise as we were sure our insurance was for a year. Both the invoice and the cover letter said it was for a year. Called the insurance broker and she said it was a typo. A typo on BOTH the invoice and the cover letter? I don't think so, IF it really was a typo the person who prepared the invoice should be fired. You cannot make mistakes like this, not if you are a serious professional company. They were essentially trying to double our insurance cost. They claimed it was communicated at the time in our correspondence but we have no record of this. If I could post it without a star I would. If I could give a negative star, I totally would have.

This company has been fantastic for helping me with home insurance! They are prompt, thorough and cheerful. Becky especially has been a tremendous help as I’ve made changes to my home and had questions about how it affects my home insurance along the way!
