Alot of the 5 star reviews are fake. Careful people there is a reason they have resorted to faking reviews.

Yesterday I renewed my vehicle vehicle insurance with Western Coastal. I have done so for many years bur yesterday your representative Harsh Dabhade was the most helpful, pleasant and professional person I have experienced. My insurance cost nearly tripled with no consultation with me, and when I tried to get it lower they gave me condescending replies and did nothing to help. After cancellation they sent me a $450 bill for cancelling. Meanwhile at TD I was able to get the insurance for about 35% cheaper, with better coverage, and less hoops to jump through. Take your business elsewhere - these people are total clowns.

By far the worst and most frustrating insurance experience I have ever had in my life. They leave inexperienced insurance agents who have absolutely no idea what they’re doing to work all alone without anyone to ask questions to. I went to get a vehicle registered and they didn’t actually register it in my name and then blamed it on “technical error” after I realized a week later. It wasn’t a technical error, it was human error because he had no clue what he was doing. The insurance agent apparently put a temporary permit on the vehicle for me to move it but never actually transferred it to my name which I did not realize and was not what I asked for. When I inquired about the copy of the registration that I needed they said “you don’t get that, this is my copy”. They kept all my original forms that I was supposed to get back and left me with a huge confusing situation to clean up on my own. Harsh Dabhade should not be trusted to deal with any of your insurance needs. I don’t understand how someone can be so incompetent at their job, especially with something as important as insuring a vehicle. When they finally mailed me my papers back that they were never supposed to keep in the first place I got this poor excuse of an apology.
