My spouse and I came in on a Saturday to renew our car insurance and change the address on our renters’ insurance and not only did Jaspreet give us incredible service, but he was very friendly and helpful. He explained our coverages and options and what the cost breakdown was for each item. He was also very fun to talk to and we laughed quite a bit. The office on a Saturday is very calm and quiet which really helped with my hearing loss. Not a lot of phones ringing, and the windows insulate well against all the traffic noise on Helmcken. The space is very well laid out and accessible for someone using a mobility aid. We will be returning for all our future insurance needs!

My experience with the adjustor at this location is what made me cancel my Western Coast insurance and go solely with ICBC for car insurance. I had two not-at-fault claims last year and both times, the adjustor was so hard to get a hold of, unprofessional in his emails (spelling errors, etc), and his phone was never able to take calls/voicemails. I mentioned this several times in my emails to him and other staff, and it was never acknowledged. Luckily they waived the deductible both times (hence the 2 stars) but it was a frustrating experience.

In my decades of insured home ownership I've never experienced the level of incompetence and unfairness as I have with Western Coast. Their insurance rep couldn't manage to form clear explanations in response to my reasonable questions, then became punitive, unprofessional, and petty because I didn't understand. She gaslit me and painted absurd scenarios, then giddily added charges that were completely inapplicable in my situation without valid explanation or justification. This all was just to *pay* for insurance. I can't imagine the nightmare if I had to make a claim.

I had such a good experience here insuring a new car. When I bought the vehicle, the dealer messed up the paperwork and I was totally at my wits end. The broker I talked to was amazing, so helpful and knowledgeable. She was able to make some calls and get the mistake sorted out for me instead of sending me away like the last place I had gone to. I'll definitely be making this my go to place for any car insurance!
