DO NOT GET YOUR INSURANCE DONE HERE. Went to get insurance on my new vehicle and they literally tried to charge me for tax that wasn't due. After 20 minutes of arguing she finally said "You're right" and didn't end up charging me. First red flag. Secondly, I did my due diligence and got insurance quote before I went there just to make sure I knew what I was getting into. To my surprise, she quoted me $600 higher per year, I had no choice but to take it. I then returned to the agent that I regularly deal with, and he confirmed that she overcharged me for the exact same coverages. My insurance quote from them was $399, and is now $343 from an agent that I trust. Do not go here, unless you like having your money taken from you. Not sure if they did this on purpose, or if it was a mistake, but either way they tried to take the money from my pocket, and I had to fight for it. EDIT: To reply to the reply that was posted by the company basically making excuses for being incompetent saying that quotes are generated by ICBC and them not knowing the rules by trying to charge me tax (who knows how many people have been ripped off by their mistakes) my insurance agent confirmed that their agent did not add my Dad under the same household as me, when we clearly have the same address. Because this was not put into ICBC system, the price was 50$ higher. When all is said and done, the agent tried to charge me tax and tried DID charge me with the higher quote. To make it worse, the company is taking 0 responsibility, and who knows how many dollars they have overcharged their customers.

I dealt with a woman named Babal and she was unprofessional and SO rude. I couldn't come into the insurance office because I was in a lot of physical pain and my medication wasn't helping much. I phoned and asked if I could re-new and make some changes on my insurance via phone. Babal said "yes". Then when I started to ask questions she said "can you come in the office?" I reminded her that I asked if we could work on my insurance over the phone and she had said "yes". I had to repeat my name two times and my birthdate three times. It was like she was distracted and not even listening to me, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Then, she said I wasn't the driver of the car. I told her that both my husband and I drive the car so both our names are on it. Then she said there was another name. I told her that was my Mom. She said that the insurance wasn't mine. I told her both my moms name and my name are on the car as owners, but my Husband and I are the drivers of the car. She said that I can't make changes because I'm not the owner of the insurance. I tried to tell her again that I make all the payments and even last year when I went in to make re-new my insurance there wasn't any problems. Babal didn't even give me the chance to say she could even speak to my Mom on the phone to prove her accusations of me being a liar were were wrong. When I told her I've never had an issue before with renewing my insurance, she rudely said "you can't make changes on someone else's insurance"...just the way she she said it! Pure rudeness and disrespect. It made me feel like I was some liar or criminal and that I doing something wrong. My response back to her wasn't polite, and for that I admit my wrong, but I let my frustration of her rude behaviour get the better of me. I forced my achy body to another insurance company a couple of minutes away and just like all other insurance agents I've seen in the past, there was NO PROBLEM AT ALL. I wasn't accused of being a criminal, or a liar...I was in and out in about 20 minutes...and I didn't even have to keep repeating myself for simple things as my birthdate.
