Contracted with them in Nov 2020 and they told us we didn't have a choice of policy or underwriter because or house was 105 years old and their underwriters "cherry pick". At one point we asked for clarification about one thing in our policy and we were referred right back to the policy for the explanation. Very rude. Two and a half years later, we get switched to Intact, which is an awful insurer and that was the final straw so we cancelled our policy. They charged us a fee for cancelling. I told them we have never been charged, just pro rated to the day even though we have never cancelled on renewal because we never move on renewal. This woman has the nerve to tell me that every company charges a fee if you cancel past the renewal date. Not in other provinces. Wilson has a lot to learn about winning a customer back. They didn't even try. TD is half the price for more coverage and they own their insurance company.

Called to get a quote and the broker told me that she wasn't going to give me the best deal available because she has experience and is there to help me? I didn't understand really cause i was only calling to get a quote so i could get the best deal, I don't need her experience. I then proceeded to tell her that I regularly change my insurance so I can get the best deal possible. Then she said : "I don't want to work with someone who isn't guaranteed to stay for more than 1 year." Terrible customer service. Edit: Tried to call Melissa last week but she was busy so it transfered me directly to the person I had a issue with, she was nice on the phone and apologized for not giving me better options, however she was still adamant about how they need customer retention. It's shocking that they care that much about customer retention that they refuse customers if they think there is any possibility you won't stay with them. Even if they would give me a quote, after that experience I would rather pay more to go somewhere else.

By far the best customer service from an insurance broker. Lowest rates available and great staff. Great experience everytime I have to deal with them!
