You don’t even deserve 1 star. You deserve 0 star. Don’t take their services. They are stealing. They increase your insurance, and when you decide to cancel it, they will charge you more. Thieves. Imagine I was paying 335$per month, just after 3 months they increased it to 373$ and when I cancelled their insurance they charged me 527$. DO NOT TAKE THEIR SERVICES. I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE THEIR SERVICES. THEY ARE THIEVES. NONSENSE

Intact insurance has a useless car app for a "discount" that keeps crashing. When you tell them about it, they tell you to reload it. If you're in a car with someone else driving, it records their driving habits. Intact doesn't send out hard copies of insurance for the car or the house. You have to look therm up online. I would never recommend this company! In June, intact had my car insurance canceled according to the app. Since there was no paper copy, I was unable to see the insurance and I was out of province. Intact claims to not know what happened. The paper copy of insurance arrived in late July after asking for it repeatedly starting in April. They just don't care about anything!

If this is the right company I'm dealing with right now then please don't waste your time getting your insurance through here. I had an accident ALMOST THREE MONTHS AGO that wasn't even my fault, the third party ran a red light and hit me. Anyway my adjuster hasn't spoken to me once, I keep calling and asking someone else to give me progess on my report. Still no pay out cheque or an update, I'm still paying my insurance for a car that doesn't exist anymore because it was a write off. I will not be staying with this company when this is over.

I called about 2 separate claims for information, but never went through with them because I decided to get it done myself. This not costing them a dime!! But, because I called about 2 in one year, Intact decided not no redo my policy going forward. They would like to keep my tenants pkg., and car though. Nice eh? I have a mortgage that requires I keep insurance on my property. Doesn't matter to them, that the Mortgage company could call in my loan, nor do they care that in 7 years I made one claim for a broken pipe in the basement. Steer clear of this company. They only want to collect your money monthly, without actually doing what you hired them for in the first place. Wish I could take the 1 star away!!!

Had an accident almost 2 months ago now, ive been receiving system automated SMS, but no one ever calls me, i call to ask what is going on, and i never get answers, being told i will get call back i wait all day, nothing, wait days and weeks nothing, then when i call them, i get put on hold for a ridiculous amount of time just to be told no one had looked at my car yet... 2 weeks ago they told me they were going to move my car to Trinity Collision to get it hoisted to get it further inspected in depth.. i got an SMS saying appraisal was done on a Friday at 5:30pm, i called them on Monday since no one ever calls me and it was the weekend, of course, they told me to call at Trinity.. so i did, i find out Trinity has no records of my vehicle, only that it has been requested to be moved there but wasnt approved.... so basically they lied about even looking at the damage they were supposed to, they lied about moving my car, they dont take notes when you tell them what damages were done on impacttoo, since ive had to repeat myself so many times over because no one has made notes of it in my file... i am carless, paying for a car insurance, for a car i do not have.. i was supposed to be called back today since ive basically resorted to harassing them multiple times a day to get answers, which i am not the type to go this far, ive been patient enough, i atleast want answers!!!! Which i dont even have, all i get is avoided and ignored! Pathetic company!!! Ill definitely be contacting a third party to help me deal with this because it has gotten out of hand... i havent even stated everything that has happened but i think this should be enough to read. I certainly did not have this hard a time with my last insurance company, they were a breeze, but my insurance broker switched us to Intact for whatever reason, im tempted to personally just go back to the old company i was with and forget the broker itself, never in my life have i seen such a horrible insurance conpany, Intact, do better!!!!
