After having a traumatic car accident, adjuster Tyler Fraser has been nothing short of a nightmare to deal with. Do not waste your time here with TD insurance. TD hires anyone and everyone and there is no quality control. At one point I had to ask myself “why does this man hate me?” I don’t know what Tyler Fraser is going through, but management needs to listen to his phone calls and read his emails. An audit needs to happen ASAP. This isn’t normal behaviour. I had to record our last phone call because no one would believe me if I didn’t.

Be aware before buying Insurance with TD bank. They do not disclose all the hidden charges and go ahead with applying all sorts of charges without your knowledge. They are unetical in the ways they perform business.Go for RBC Insurance instead.I closed all my TD accounts savings, chequing, credit card because I do not deal with unethical banks, fraud banks.

Wife had a 50/50 fault collision over the Christmas holidays. My insurance advisor Shryansh was a pleasure to deal with and went out of his way to assist us. Prompt repayments for services and either answered or called back in short order to answer questions and provide follow-ups. This is our first claim and I was pleasantly surprised.

TD insurance will charge you less upfront but will do everything in there power to try and no pay you when you submit a claim. I had to leave 6-7 messages per time I wanted to get someone to call me back as there employees do not answer the phone. They will ask for multiple depositions to try and get you to stumble in your words, all for them to ensure they don't have to pay. There are much better insurances for a similar price STAY AWAY FROM TD.

Absolutely disgusted by the service I've received from this company over the years. Today I've made my decision to cut ties with them after this term. I received a letter today stating I had to pay 2200 dollars by the 19th (9 days from now, but really I had 1 day considering the transaction has to go through by the 19th and they require 5 business days). I missed 2 payments this term, 1 was absolutely my fault and a result of just forgetting to transfer the money to my account, the other was due to an increase in my monthly fee, I received the letter AFTER the payment, assuming my rate hadn't changed I had enough to cover the pervious amount not the new one, regardless I had to pay them and my bank a returned fee totaling 100 dollars. Then they used it to justify demanding a full year payment in a matter of days, or they would cancel me for non payment, a fact they promised me would stay on my record indefinitely and affect my ability to get insurance. They refused to make any kind of payment plan. They refused to take 1100 and give me a month to give them the other 1100. My only option being give them 2200 in 1 day. This is of course only the last straw in a long line of terrible consumer service. The list includes, rate increases after being rear ended, rate increases with little to no notice, or notice after renewal (yes there is a fee for cancelling after renewal, no doubt the reason they don't give reasonable notice), having to call over and over and over again to get them to draft a letter for my work (stating I had the insurance I needed to do my job). The list goes on. Do yourself a favor and avoid them.
