AA Munro Insurance NS B2G 2C1

I had insurance with them and had to change back Accounts . They refused to accept my banking info and would not return my calls or messages.all I got was a letter saying my policy was cancelled . Now I’m having trouble getting insurance with another company because it states it was cancelled for non payment . I would not recommend them to anyone

Chris Dunlop at the Antigonish office has always gone above and beyond to make sure my insurance needs were met. Had only 1 negative experience with AA Munro and that was when I tried to get insurance on a new truck we purchased and at the time AA Munro refused to give me insurance because there was a hurricane on it's way. This would have left us without insurance on a $70 000 truck during a hurricane. We ended up insuring it through another provider (and still is to this day). This was not Chris' fault as AA Munro as a company refued to insure anyone during the hurricane. That wasn't cool as I've been a loyal customer of theirs since the early 90's.

Filed my insurance incorrectly and then sent me the bill with no explanation or apology. Just said that if I didn’t pay the extra money they’d cancel my policy. Horrible customer service. Extremely poor attention to detail.

About all these folks or any insurance place does is take your money... There's absolutely no incentive for them to work for you to find the best rate and they most certainly don't treat anyone as a customer/consumer... seems like their attitude and all insurance company's attitudes is they're doing you a favor by taking hundreds and hundreds of your dollars annually for no other reason but giving you an insurance card so a cop cannot fine you. ... Almost have to hound them to get a policy and never a word from them to try an retain your business or to try and find you a better rate. AA Munro isn't what it used to be and I'd jump ship the first chance I find so much as a one dollar cheaper policy elsewhere.

She was able to find us pricing on auto insurance that works for us now and down the road as our number of drivers increases - not to mention encouraging me to check out the driving discount program, which is now saving me 16%! She's a gem and just one of the reasons I choose AA Munro.
