Absolutely horrible company to deal with. My mother passed and we hadn't immediately cancelled her policy for auto insurance since it was combined with her home insurance which we had to keep until the house sold, so we only saw one charge coming out which we assumed was just the house insurance. Well, once we had realized this we called to cancel it. Didn't the agent proceed to critizie and berate me for how long it took for us to call and cancel it. Incredibly insensitive company and I hope he's treated the same way if he loses a loved one. Unacceptable and as unprofessional as it can get. The way I was spoken to made me sick to my stomach on how anyone in that position can speak to someone like that. Do better Intact, do better. I will NEVER do buisness with this company again. Zero stars

Awful customer service, and awful legislation surrounding insurance. You should be sued for price gouging. Years of being a loyal customer has got me no where. CAA gave me better prices, even after you cancelled my policy for a missed payment after switching banks. Thanks for nothing

Blatant liars who do not care whatsoever, worst company to deal with, terrible people. Have been waiting almost 11 months now for a cash settlement for a non fault incident. My car failed mvi because I couldnt get the money to have the damage fixed. They lie and lie and lie and dont care about you at all.

Terrible customer service! Both people I talked to over a missed payment were very arrogant, didn't listen, talked over me every single chance they got. Their answer to everything was just wait for your letter. Not informing me they'll still be taking money out even though I'm sitting here "waiting for a letter". "Oh we don't call customers to inform them they're still in good standing and we're going to making this months regular payment." We'll just take it blindly out of your account in hopes you were ready for it! Yeah A-1 service all around. "Is there anything else sir?" "Yea, uh huh, yeah, uh huh" the entire time I was telling her to put a complaint in to her manager for their terrible customer service! They called me to get me to d/l their app, but can't call with actual customer service!! Great job!

Customer service is terrible. I hate writing that because my adjuster seemed really nice, but now I feel like I am being ghosted. Can't get answers, can't even get them to return a phone call. I can 100% see why Intact has such low ratings on several different platforms. I will update this review WHEN I hear back from my adjuster. UPDATE: Called the number below, as suggested, spoke to two people (neither of which were my adjuster) both were very apologetic, but neither could help me, was told that my adjuster will be calling me soon. That was 3 days ago.
