I recently had the pleasure of meeting with the insurance agent Jennie regarding both home and car insurance, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment we started, she was incredibly friendly and approachable, making the entire process feel comfortable and straightforward. What stood out most was her depth of knowledge and professionalism. She took the time to thoroughly explain all the options available and provided insightful recommendations tailored to my needs. Her expertise was evident, and she was able to offer the best and most affordable insurance plans without any pressure. I recently visited my local CAA office to get my passport photos taken, and unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. From the moment I walked in, I could sense the stress in the air. The staff seemed overwhelmed and rushed, which immediately set a tense tone for the visit. The person who took my photo was visibly stressed and didn't seem to have the time or patience to provide good customer service. I felt like I was just another task on their to-do list, rather than a valued customer. There was little to no communication or effort to make me feel comfortable during the process, which is disappointing considering how important passport photos are. The whole process felt hurried and impersonal. Instead of taking a moment to ensure that the photos were done right, the staff member seemed more focused on getting me in and out as quickly as possible. This led to a rushed photo session where I wasn’t confident the pictures would meet the necessary standards. Overall, my experience at CAA was stressful and unsatisfactory. While I understand that the staff may have been under pressure, the lack of customer service and the tense atmosphere made the experience unpleasant. I left feeling more anxious than I should have, especially given the importance of having proper passport photos. I wouldn’t recommend getting your passport pictures done there if you’re looking for a smooth and professional experience.

My husband and I were trying to switch our CAA insurance from NS to ON. After trying for a week on the phone with long wait times and no luck we decided to head right to the CAA store in Barrie. Well, unfortunately our experience was worse live and in person. The lady in charge of the car insurance immediately had an attitude after we explained our situation. She said we can't help you because you need an appt. We explained we tried on the phone for so long and now we're driving with expired NS plates. She didn't care and said "you do have 30 days to switch it over." To which we said "we've already been here that long so can you help us?" To which she replied, "sorry NO I can't!" My husband said you're not sorry and walked out and she walked away. I literally stood there with my mouth open in shock with how rude and how discourteous this lady in charge of insurance was. She didn't seem to care that she just lost an insurance customer and we've also decided to not renew our CAA Plus membership which is supposed to renew mid month. We do not recommend CAA Barrie.
