Service Canada Centre 195 Henry St unit 6b

2 stars because when I came a few weeks ago the lady was wonderful.. but our visit today was less than that. Was told to relax by a middle aged woman with big eyes/brown shoulder length hair with a lot of attitude in the room on the right of the door when I wasn't doing anything but trying to explain the situation calmly.. at 830 in the morning.. please use kindness lady it's not that hard.

Did an adult passport applicant and child application. I went in two separate occasions and every staff member I interacted with were courteous, friendly and very helpful. They were extremely busy both times I was there and wait times are long but I made an appointment for my second visit and was in and out.

I've been there 2 times to update my account I've been told my social security was to be paid up by Aug 27th for my July's cheque and my August payment and I received only a base amount no gis .I've called service Canada directly and they put me on hold for the next available agent it never happens after waiting for 20 minutes they disconnected my call I've become very frustrated with all the run around I feel as a 71 year CANADIAN CITIZEN WHO HAVE LIVED MY WHOLE LIFE HERE ONLY LEFT FOR VACATIONS.. PAID TAXES FOR ALL MY WORKING YEARS CONTRIBUTED TO THE CPP. OHIP ETC ETC AND THERESHOULD BE NO FOR ANY OF THIS

My visit to Service Canada was less than efficient. After a 1 hour wait to get in the door to the welcome desk I was treated to an additional 4 hour wait to speak with one of three people working. The staff were helpful and apologetic for the wait. If it is a necessity that you go in person, plan for the day, bring a book, snacks and water, and pack your patience.

Worst services Canada not services Canada..2 hrs and still waiting. Why are our government services so slow? Inefficiency, lack of staff or just incompetent. I'm on ODSP for a damaged back and not too mobile and for a government institute taking this long is just unacceptable. Buck up services Canada.
