Home insurance increased 40% since last year. Been with TD for 20 years. No coverage changes or claims. Completely unjustified. UPDATE: Contacted multiple insurers, all quotes came in less than TD, with better coverage. Even with the cancellation fees, I'll be coming out ahead. Don't bother with TD. Definitely call around.

I have been with TD for several years now and I can confidently warn you that they are a real mess. They also price gouge in an atrocious way. STAY CLEAR! We just got a quote with a large competitor, after seeing our insurance on home and auto skyrocket over the years, that was literally three times LESS. We had no claims! TD told me/blamed it on rising costs yet how does the large competitor we just contacted keep their prices so low in the same market/economy? TD has been nothing but a nightmare to deal with; constantly messing up our information on file, sending us letters requesting payments year after year when we have already paid, messing up important information on file related to our insurance, rude customer service and rude managers who try to pit the blame and misunderstandings on us. It has been a wild ride of endless hours spent defending our payments, our accounts, and questioning prices, account information, and promised, year after year, that it will be resolved for the following year. Never has been. We finally got smart and moved on. Finally, the insurance company we are joining had to request that we get letters from TD to prove our records with TD for never got around to making our information available to any other insurance companies (which the new company thought was quite strange). We looked as though we were never insured with them! I highly suggest that you run for the hills if you have a policy with them and/or shop around on your own or with a broker to find a better solution. If you have an affiliation with any group, try to find if that group has deals with any other insurance provider. I am a Western Alumni so that is how I joined TD in the first place. Be care alumni... We watched as our insurance ballooned over the years with no claims. TD is a real joke and their customer service and care for you and your files is an absolute disaster zone.

I have been a loyal customer of TD Monnex Insurance Company for the past 20 years, but my recent experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. My house was accidentally hit by my neighbor, and their car insurance was supposed to cover the damage entirely. However, TD Monnex took an agonizing 9 months to resolve the issue. While waiting for them to arrange temporary housing, they offered my family a place in Hamilton( I lived in Markham) . They refused my request to rent a place closer to my home, insisting the repairs wouldn't take long. In reality, the repairs took 9 months, and the actual work only took 2 weeks. The designated representative never returned my calls or showed any concern for our terrible experience. I submitted receipts for over 5 months, only to be ignored and ultimately not reimbursed. In conclusion, TD Monnex Insurance Company is quick to collect your premiums but extremely reluctant to pay out claims. They show a complete lack of customer care and accountability. I would not recommend this insurance company to anyone.

The worst insurance. On Saturday I was supposed to buy a new vehicle, unfortunately the deal didn’t go through. On Monday I called them and asked them to use the old coverage. To which they laughed and feted me a new covered which was increased by $300 annually. Don’t even bother using them. Scam

Disgusting service. Liars. Quote me and then when I sign up the price goes up, they tell me, oh, well sir you didn't add an additional driver to your policy. So, I just call in to give you misleading quotes of people in my family that will be sharing vehicles. Then they say no sir, nothing can be done, until I made a bigger deal, then they told me they will call me within 24 hours and that a solution would be possible as they would fix it if it was their error. Well wouldn't you know I have been chasing them since December and they have been ignoring us with no return phone calls. They actually said they called us and told us the policy is correct. No phone call received. Straight SCAMMING LIES. I will be calling the John Howard Society to get legal action on these LIARS that are in positions that are ripping people off. Barely anyone speaks English as first language. IS THIS SERVICE OF THE FUUTRE ? WE DO NOT WANT IT
