My husband and I had lost confidence in insurance companies until we met Caroline Palotay at Kent & Essex Mutual Insurance Company. Caroline set a new precedence for leadership in the industry of insurance companies. It is because of her leadership and the products she has set us up with, it is her relationship with us that she honours and is committed to that allows us to give this 5 star review. We have experience stellar communication, quick responses and advocacy that has exceeded our expectations. We have cars, rentals, houses, property and farms with her and her knowledge in each one of theses areas is spectacular. If you want to deal with an insurance company that has an agent that acts worst then a 3 year old this is the place to deal! Just call and ask for Donna White. She's the one! This woman flys off the handle when you question or chanllenge her about a claim! I have a brand new truck with $38,000 damage, so yes I want to know why it's being fixed rather than written off! She then says I have been hard to deal with since the first phone call! Then never says good bye, if I have anymore questions then call the repair shop, why would I call them? She's the one that would have the answers! She has to be the worst agent known to the insurance industry!

I've been with this insurance company (auto) from the time I was able to have my own insurance policy (10+ years). The consistent lack of communication from this company and their brokers is disappointing to say the least. Consistent rate increases without explanation, despite the fact that I ask to be notified of said changes. Cannot speak to a representative directly, only communication is through a broker. Come the new year, I will paying more for my auto insurance than I was when I first started driving. Their rates are not competitive and there always seems to be some form of catch in place to try and keep rates consistent. Very disappointed with this company after all this time. In true insurance company fashion, this company does not value customer loyalty. I would recommend looking elsewhere for more competitive rates and better customer service.
Not one to usually leave reviews but needed to express my sincere appreciation for the customer service we experienced while working with Kent and Essex insurance. Like many other Chatham Kent residents, we had a claim due to flood damage during the august storm and even though it was a really busy time , we were met with exceptional customer service and felt as though we were taken care of in an efficient and timely manner as they went above and beyond to ease our concerns/burden that the storm brought. Happy to be insured by such a great company who cares deeply about their customers- thankyou so much !!
