Will never recommend this place to anyone. I was a customer for 5 years. During my first, second and third year upon renewals, my insurance would go down 30+ dollars each time. The last 2 years upon renewals my insurance increased DRASTICALLY !! Last year I called them when I received the renewal in the mail, because I was sure the price was a mistake. The person on the phone was able to lower the cost by fixing a few things. I was previously paying $137, the renewal went to $196. The agent brought it down to $180.. although it’s still high, it’s manageable. This year it again, went up another $32 making it $212. Again, I called and asked why does it keep going up drastically. I was told the generic response of “well everything is going up, think of gas and groceries plus all the parts for your car” yeah whatever. The woman on the phone never bothered to look and my file to see if they can change anything, she was just bothered and couldn’t care less losing a customer. I have a very clean record, I’ve never received a ticket or been in any accidents. I drive a 2018 Chevy Cruze with extremely low mileage, and have my full G license. To pay $212 a month is a joke. I understand if I was a brand new driver with a G2 license or if I’ve been issued a bunch of tickets, but that’s not the case. My own family & friends, drive brand new 2023 vehicles and pay $60-100 less than me. I feel ripped off and taken advantage of the last 2 years, and never again will I have anything to do with Desjardins. I was charged $280 from Desjardins today I’m guessing for their ridiculous cancellation fee, after receiving 0 notice a payment was coming out from my account and of how much. Please, think twice before having this place as your insurance company, they will surely make sure to take every single penny you have!!

21 years of service. Lawrence and Francine, Danielle and Holy all provide top service when it comes to insurance needs. Don't hesitate to go in and have a one on one conversation about switching to them. They got your back.

Danielle is a huge “Karen” my policy was up and they still wanted to charge me another month. She laughed on the phone instead of educating her client or even trying to help. I switched companies due to rising rates with them for absolute no reason . Very unprofessional staff. Went with Aviva insurance and I’m now paying literally 50% less with more perks. Please shop around everyone and check online brokers do not go with this company or branch.
