This company is a complete joke. Unfortunately, I am stuck with them as a benefit provider through my UA Local. With a few exceptions, their staff is very rude and dismissive (I was just hung up on by the claims department, in the middle of a conversation with a "thank you..." *click*). The claims department provided some of the worst customer service I've ever received. I hope and pray that my union switches to reputable provider such as Manulife or Sun Life.
How has nothing changed for the better in over a year ? In fact it's gotten extremely worse. x100 Too sad. This used to be a great provider. Is anyone even trying to resolve the mess? Is that even a vision or concern for the company? Does anyone with the ability to inspire and ensure change even read these reviews...? I'd ask the questions, directly but there's no way to get through to anyone anymore. I'll remove my review when things improve! (Many of us can only hope !!)
They switched to Next Gen Rx instead of remaining with Manulife and they take all your money but DO NOT COVER ANY PRESCRIPTIONS! Very difficult to deal with, they say they will help you and not to call back and then I wait and nothing goes through. Do not go with this company
Since they moved and switched systems, it’s been a nightmare dealing with this company. We sent in forms in Dec to add someone to benefits. They claim they never received the forms. Sent in again and again. Finally i physically dropped the forms. I was told it would be a week. It’s been over a month and every time I call, no one knows what’s happening and said they will escalate it. It’s a nightmare even getting someone on the line. Back in the day, u may wait a few min only to speak to a live person. Hopefully enough people complain and unions stop using them.
I see now what all the negative reviews are talking about. Absolutely insanity...NO ONE answers the phone lines. Anytime you call you are 99 in line. Ridiculous!! Cannot remit online. no one to help. At least before I could remit online and expect payment within 2-3 weeks. I think that all employers should stop remitting monies to global then someone there would be willing to pick up the phone lines
