Co-operators General Insurance Company 101 Cooper Dr

I moved my auto, motorcycle & property insurance today with Co-operators. I was lucky to have agent Blessing, (yes, her name is Blessing) what a wonderful name. Blessing was very patient with me. She fulfilled every change and request I had on the quotes without any sign irritation and I asked her too many things. She never made me feel like I was taking too much time because of her friendly demeanour. She was absolute pleasure to talk to. I am glad I moved to co-operators, they have great rates & excellent customer service.

Went with Co-operators last November for snowmobile insurance. Was informed at the time for a small fee; up to one month of insurance payment, we could cancel early when winter ends. Verified this information at the end of March when we went to cancel our policy. The agent said it would only cost up to one month of the insurance payment on the next payment date. They ended up taking 5 months of payments as a penalty. So we basically paid for the year anyways with coverage for only 4 months. Upon calling them and asking them to pull up the transcript, I was told that they weren't sure why we were told that but I could get $4 back of the $197 they took. That was even more insulting. Do not use this company for any type of insurance.

Worst company to deal with , terrible experience… representative is sold wrong policy keep taking out the payments every month when it times comes to claim the damage the blame us for not informed them that they gave us the wrong policy … how would we know they gave us the wrong policy …all the staff or reps are really not responsible and not professional.. we would never recommend anyone to go with co- operators insurance company…

I've read the Google reviews, and Tammy Henderson is consistently described as an incredibly rude person – some even liken her to being a white Karen. There are claims that she displays racist behavior, particularly against individuals of color, which is deeply concerning.

After being transferred, Tammy Henderson, one of the rudest individuals I've encountered, displayed concerning behavior. Initially, everything was fine, but upon learning my Indian name, she became overtly racist, expressing negative views about the Indian community in Canada. Her comments were offensive and, in my opinion, warrant serious consideration for her employment status.
