I don’t recommend this insurance company. We bought travel insurance for my parents from them but when we made a claim, the claim was denied. My father had an emergency tooth extraction because it was swollen already. We have all the documents that they need and even a doctor’s note but still, the claim was denied. I don’t understand what INSURANCE means to this company because when we decided to buy insurance from them all we wanted was peace of mind that when they have travel insurance if something EMERGENCY happens this company will help. But what’s happening right now, instead of having peace of mind they are giving us TOO MUCH STRESS.

Never tried to submit a claim so can't speak to that angle. I ended up moving back to my home country and cancelling my travel insurance, and I was told on 1/15/24 I would receive a refund of $416. Tomorrow will make 15 business days without any sign of that money coming back. I don't think they actually sent it back. However, customer service staff have always been pleasant over the phone and email. Edit: the day after I posted this, Travelance posted their reply and emailed me that they would be processing the refund as previously promised. They've also called me on the phone at least three times, which I have not felt the need to answer. We'll see. I'll edit this again when I actually see the money. But anyway, good to know that writing reviews is the way to actually get their attention! Another edit: I got my refund! I am so pleasantly surprised.

Terrible customer service! I called to ask for their help and guidance with insurance coverage and making a claim. Instead, the agents were very rude and offensive and are no help at all. It literally gave me a headache just talking to them.
