I would give the CAA Roadside assistant 5 stars, as they helped me many times. But for the car insurance department one star is too much. Unbelievable bad service. There is never a real person to answer when you phone. I tried to phone them 8 times, waited 1 to 1 1/2 hours, the machine says: we are experiencing more than usual amount of calls, stay on line. Nobody answers. If you leave them call back #, they don't call you back. I got auto insurance from them, l paid fully, but because they don't answer my calls l canceled with them 3 months ago. I am still waiting for my refund. They don't answer your emails too. This is a worst possible insurance company to deal with. Stay AWAY please.
CAA is not open for insurance (the location at the Shops at Don Mills) so it was a wasted trip. They have to find a way to make this clear to people that are advised to come in person for insurance. A bolded note when you get an online quote would do. It just doesn’t make sense…you can get membership over the phone (I’ve had CAA for 30+ years and have never gone in person) but you have to go in person for the low mileage insurance so they should offer service on Saturdays. Also, finding a parking spot at the shops at Don Mills is not easy so going in person is a real hassle.
CAA doing fraud with there customers They cancelled my insurance without me knowing, claimed they sent registered mail, I could give 0 no star, Very poor and pathetic service. I call CAA for over charge to my credit card for late payment saying they charge my card and payment did not go through even though my card was perfect with no problem or any issues.charges me again and then cancels my insurance as well. CAA gets double payment and then they cancel my insurance as well. I am seeing this practice CAA doing with lots of customers facing this issue. It seems to be scam for getting and looting customers. Insurance Agents says I have to start all over again and pay them more for no fault of mine. Beware of CAA insurance. I want news media and government has to look at the fraud this company doing with ther customer. I need good lawyer to come out and we Like to Sue these company. They made no attempt to call or email, and I was not made aware of any letter for me.Pathetic customer service.
PSA Agent Fraud I was told with my original quote that after 4 months my insurance would go down because an old speeding ticket would be coming off my record. I called after noticing it didn't and was told that the agent I spoke to had misspoken and that price changes only happen when a policy is renewed. Their agent committed fraud having me agree to a contract under false pretenses. After bringing this up with their complaint department, I was told there is nothing they can do. 0/10 Customer service.
Do not trust the name! This is the worst insurance company I have been with in the last 10 years as I moved from Germany to Canada. Paying double or triple the cost I would pay in Europe it is not worth the money, especially CAA insurance. I had a claim for a windshield replacement and had to go through hell to get it done because CAA claim department had a different policy in their system and even though I had my policy in front of me telling me what my deductible is they refused to grant it. Bunch of unprofessional individuals who act as if they have such a secured job that they do not care about their customers and a system that does not show my policy to the claims department. I had a claim regarding my home with a different company years ago and it went smooth, I wanted to save money and switched insurance companies to CAA and that was the biggest mistake I made.
