The Kingston office has closed permanently. There is nothing to let customers know the office has closed either. Be prepared to call the new 1-800 number and be on hold for 45 minutes at least or 2 hrs like I was only to be frustrated and give up. Unfortunately the agents at the call centre don’t seem to know their job and there isn’t anyone higher in the office to be transferred to when you call. After 20+ yrs accident/claim free they are losing my 3 policies, it’s too bad they’ve lost their touch. Save yourself the frustration and seek out a new company and/or avoid Allstate at all costs.

Absolutely terrible service in times of a claim. They put rates up, they make mistakes and if the customer doesn’t catch them they go unnoticed, they close offices and when you need them to help you, we’re sorry nobody’s available until Monday or Tuesday. Awful company, stay away….. good thing you stopped the “you’re in good hands” slogan

Have been with this company for years and the customer service and personal touch is gone! I received a quote and an hour later with the exact same information the price increased dramatically - tried to speak to someone about it and basically got no where. Made a decision to purchase the vehicle based on original quote (with VIN #) and had to proceed with the higher amount when I called to finalize. On a positive note - I have time to SHOP AROUND in order to leave this unorganized dysfunctional company who does not care about customers. They are about to lose 3-4 policies that have never had a claim :).

I don't know what's going on with Allstate. I have been a client for years now. I spent 2.5 hours on hold this morning for the call to have "failed", after lunch I tried again and was on hold for 1.5 hours and then the call "failed". I have emailed several people. Many are coming up "out of office indefinitely". I just want to talk to someone to make policy changes. This is terrible customer service.

I'd give Jeff a negative if possible! They got rid of good staff and office and replaced with long phone wait and incompetent and conflicting information. 4 policies now moved to local company. Horrible "customer service". I had to pay penalty to cancel my insurance or threatened with collection! Avoid Belleville, Kingston, Brockville all run by Jeff Brooks!
