Guardsman Insurance Services Inc 2447 Princess St

Initially I thought Guardsman was great and they are decent at brokering insurance. Unfortunately when asked for help on a claim or clarification on commercial matters they don't respond to emails or calls. I find that a weak business procedure.

Guardsman Insurance is a wonderful brokerage to deal with. As a small business, Guardsman took the time to get to know me and ask about my family and my life. They made me feel like they actually cared and was not just another number on a spreadsheet. I dealt with Lori who was consistently on the ball with quick responses and helped to explain terms in layman’s terms so that they were very easy to understand. Guardsman also offered the best rates that I could find and made my experience quite enjoyable. I will be sticking with them for the foreseeable future for all of my insurance needs.

Tom is great to work with. I signed up my truck, house and rental property with barely any work to do myself. Very personable, relaxed, knowledgable person. I highly recommend Guardsman Insurance to friends and family. They have constantly been professional and assisted me in arranging insurance on a number of properties and vehicles. Every time I have had a question they have been happy to break things down so I understand what is going on and they always make sure I am aware of what is going on with my policies, and which policy works best for what I need.

The absolute worst office ever. They messed up payment amounts and schedules then when brought to their attention said I was wrong. EVERY SINGLE STEP OF THE WAY HAS HAD ISSUES. I've worked through 3 different brokers in the office. The owner, then his son, then a lady. Every single one of them have been brutal to get back to you or just give u the screw around. The latest is they refuse to change a date on the form, keep telling me I have to print it to change it. I don't own a printer. I'm SO THANKFUL my saga with them is almost over. I really hope others read this. It's rare I need to even deal with insurance but for the last 3-4 years it's been stressful to even consider asking them a question.
