These people are compulsive liars, have had a policy for many years, decided to cash it in and all I get is one lie after other. Check was to be in my hands in 15 days its over a month now and nothing, so next step is to lodge a formal complaint with Ontario Ombudsman. Terrible to be 73 and have to fight to get my money out of these people.

BE CAUTIONS WITH LONDON LIFE, THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN CANADA. WE HAVE OUR RSP'S AT London life, and we called to cashed some money, and first they said our account didn't exist, after we fight, and helling, they said they had to investigate, took three weeks, we called to see what happened after three weeks, and the customer service said they sent us a cheque, we waitted 10 business days because we didn't received our money of what we had asked for it, THE PERSON WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE AFTER 2 HOURS WAITTING for someone to pick up the phone, she said no cheque was sent yet, I asked to speak wit her supervisor, SHE REFUSED, I INSISTED OVER AND OVER AGAIN, she put me on hold for another two hours, till they closed, this got us very upset, THEY HAVE EMPLOYEES not qualified for the job, they transfered one person to another, we called the next day, like this lady we spooke by the name : "Garima" OR ""JARIMA"we couldn't understood each other, bag her to TRANSFERED my call to a manager, or supervisor again, she refused WE kept ASKING her to transfered our call many times she refused, Not SURE WHY, very angry with their SERVICE. we have allot of money in our RSP'S and having a hard time to cashed some of our money, retired 4 years ago, and need my money to make our ends meet! when we end up speaking to someone in their business, we asked how it works to cash our money, and this was how they explained: "" BE CAREFUL WITH INVESTING IN RSP 'S"", because when you retired then they get you with allot of taxes when you try to cashed that money, from "0" up to 5 thousand you pay 10 % then from 5 thousand to 15 thousand you pay 20%, from 15 thousand to 30 thousand you pay 30%, this is what they told me today plus a $50 fee each time we will clashed money out...LONDON LIFE HAS THE WORST COSTUMER SERVICE IN THIS COUNTRY...

My Father passed in April 2023 and I called London Life as I found documents in his fire safe for London life. I was told in MAY that he had no records there and that whatever he had was done. I finally get my dads estate done and the bank closed down in September and then in October I get a letter addressed to my Dad that his ANNUITY cannot be deposited and to give a voided cheque to start receiving his funds again. I have called 4 TIMES!!!!!! and promised that a Death Claim package will follow within 3-5 business days and still nothing. If you care about your loved ones and family DO NOT invest or obtain insurance with this company. You will receive nothing but frustration and silence. Absolutely a horrible place to deal with after losing a loved one.

Never get any response from anyone. Have been trying for years to have my last name changed back to my maiden name, but have yet to hear from anyone. I want to cash in my life insurance and have called numerous times and have yet to receive a call back.
