I had an awesome experience with Amber! I was able to call a few weeks in advance to get some quotes for some motorcycles. As soon as I bought one I called her up, and the process was super quick and easy. A 5 minute phone call and my bike was insured. I would recommend her to everyone and anyone if they are getting their first motorcycle, they were by far the cheapest I found, and she was amazing to work with! Thanks again Amber, you rock!
I called and right away I was setup with Amber. She was very helpful and super responsive with quotes. The prices were far much better then any other insurance company out there for a new rider. I was very happy with her customer service, and would recommend her in a heart beat.
This place renewed my policed and doubled my payment with out telling me . I switched insurance after the first payment and canceled now pay 146 a month and instead of there 426 they wanted . Was a loyal customer to them for 5 years and they have been nothing but awful . Telling me I owe another month if I wanna cancel . Highly recommend going to Belair and not these folks .
As a first time motorcycle driver, Amber and Kim were incredibly helpful and accomodating. I appreciate the time and effort they took in answering all my questions and making sure I was getting the right coverage for my needs. I'd definitely refer this team to anyone in the market for insurance.
My rate had been significantly increased (understandably) after I incurred several tickets years ago, however my premiums remained confusingly high after the tickets dropped off. When I approached Rick ten Haaf's team about this, and mentioned that I was able to find comparable coverage elsewhere at half the cost Desjardins was offering, the response was essentially: "interesting point, but insurance rates are confusing and we have no control." It seems Rick's office has little visibility into the rates they charge or and/or no interest in providing transparency. If the former is true, and they are truly handcuffed by the industry algorithms, I wonder why their roles exist. I easily found and purchased comparable coverage online at a reputable brokerage with little need to talk with a "sales rep". Regardless, no effort was made to keep a client. I have spoken to Rick only once since I have been insured with him and it was to hear him patronize me after my tickets came into view for the branch (forget the years of clean driving prior and since). I don't desire a relationship with Rick (or any insurance broker), and perhaps my account is small, but that he was absent during discussions to cancel my coverage highlights my standing with the brokerage and a lack of customer service. I suppose insurance really does sell itself. My partner will not be extending, and I have encouraged family members currently with Rick to explore other options. Business is business.
