My insurance agent (the person) is fine. He works for a company and does his job. That said... Certas/Desjardins as a company not allowing you to download your insurance documents on your regular browser? Forcing you to download chrome just to see the documents you pay exorbitant amounts for monthly? It's ridiculous, unprofessional, frustrating... I could go on. Additionally, I have major problems with how difficult it is to find out what's actually covered by your insurance without speaking with someone directly. This information should be easily available. Please get it together. Auto insurance is mandatory in this life and the way this company makes it so difficult to navigate is just pathetic.

I'm surprised by the negative reviews as I've had no bad experiences with Desjardins..two homes, four vehicles on our policy. Although it is a time consuming process on the phone, I prefer to speak directly and do not use the on line service. Yesterday I had my cottage ins increased to reflect current rebuild costs, and the woman was able to find a way to bring down other chargers, so my cottage increase cost me just $10 per year. I would call that good service. My only complaint is the amount of time to wait for an advisor which can be up to an hour.

I give zero rating, this is the company you should stay away with. Their claim is such a pain. My car was broken in on driveway during night, 0 fault on myself. I was pit in the claim process thereafter, and was assigned a claim advisor. They told me Simplicity Valet Service is assigned to tow my car in two hours, that never happened. Today is 3rd day, I have emailed them many times, they never replied. I called the advisor, always went to voice-mail. I ended up talking to a different advisor every time suffering the long waiting. I am still waiting for the tow truck to call me. I am now more worried when I read the review here. It seems there is a long path ahead of me, towing, appraisal, fix, cheque, car rental .. . Will they keep integrity to complete my claim? Finger crossed.

we moved to the same area just a deferent building and we were charged 20 extra dollars as a penalty, we were told it's a risk 7 more minutes from where you were living. we are with this company for 39 years and they have the nurve to treat us and raise our rate by 20 dollars because we moved 7 minutes from where we were. we are defenitly changing companies. and we are also over 70 yeaes old retired, to al the grocery stores is no more then 10 minutes, and they are telling us we are a risk, really????????

worst costumer service . unable to download my pink slip , website sucks no option for downloading my own policy and no support from the costumer service staff . even they are not emailing me my policy , i dont knw whts the issue with them . gonna change my company as my policy expires . #worstinsurancecompany
