Intact Insurance 6925 Century Ave #900

Do NOT use Intact. They give you the run around and it takes weeks to get a response. They have also STOLEN and sold my vehicle without permission or a signed ownership. Absolutely ridiculous. Garbage company. Edit: I have better things to do with my time than waste it dealing with your automated customer experience line. You will not find a resolution for me, all of your adjusters have been useless. You can have one of your highest managers contact me via email, in the meantime I’ll be pursuing legal action.

Stay away from these scammers. U will not get claim after accidents even at not-at fault. They will refuse claim by saying that other driver who hit your car don’t have insurance so we will not give u claim. Such a scam, just charging big amount of money just for piece of paper. ⚠️ stay away from intact Go for Aviva insurance, RBC or TD insurance

On June 30, 2022 we left Gaspe, Quebec at 4:15pm and we arrived in Waterloo on friday at 10 am. So on the following monday we called Intact insurance and guess what we found out on that thursday we left at midnight they canceled our insurance. So my wife and I and our two pets drove for ten hours without insurance, I was not impressed and I still am not impressed. They stated in fact that they do things different in Quebec, obviously they could have transferred our policy but they did not. They told us to get insurance in Ontario before we even left but that is not how it works, as our van needed to be certified first. So when we found this out we had to make an appointment and have this done and have a tow truck take our van to be certified. For months I could not get over what could have happened during that eighteen hour long drive. To just think traveling without insurance and not knowing this fact and what kind of trouble this would of caused had there been an accident. It is absolutely pathetic to realise that there are some who should not be in the jobs they are in. Why am I stating this now because a commercial for intact insurance was just on so I thought now was a good time to get this out there. And to add insult to what could have happened they charged us $100.00 in august for them cancelling our insurance. So no I would stay away from intact insurance they don't have the decency to take your money or have your back. That is what they say on tv that they have your back, well they didn't have ours so please be warned and tell your family and friends. Andrew Perkull

This insurance absolutely sucks its been 3 months there is no update on my claim adjuster does not reply, even though its not at fault accident and they are not even fixing my car even though the car shop where my car is at right now has already sent them the appraiser of dammed, but there is no reply still.

In 2021 my car was quite literally run over (you could see the other guys tire marks on the hood of my car), and I was placed at 50/50 fault. I was being charged $130 monthly fur it to go up to $250 (again for a 50/50 accident) I was told I had first time accident forgiveness which was obviously not true since my premium went up. Now I’m with a better company paying $126 a month. I encourage everyone to switch when you can.
