They've made it impossible for for me to claim my mother's life insurance. She passed away in the hospital at 2am and they are insisting I have the doctor that pronounced her fill in a form, she wasn't her doctor just someone on staff when she died. I have no idea the doctors name that pronounced her. They expect me to go to Michael Garron hospital and find this doctor to fill in this form. I am unable to do that so I'm basically out of luck. This is all because the policy is less than 5 years old. I'm struggling with immense grief and these jerks are making my life worse for a lousy few thousand dollars. Avoid these guys if you can. There must be better places out there that won't do this to people.

I'm not sure how to revise my original review but I wanted to update on my situation. CPP reached out to me and it seems I was given incorrect information and/or I took it wrong. They've given me direction on how to get my form filled out and I have a direct contact to assist me with my claim. I must say, I'm impressed that there is an actual person willing to assist in this day and age of faceless emails etc. Hopefully it will all work out for me and I can move on with mourning my mother.

They quoted me more than they should have. My doctor gave them a clean bill of health for me and they still charged me a higher amount than they should have. I'm very upset with this company.
