We are deeply disappointed with our experience with Aviva Insurance. After trusting them to protect our most valuable assets, including our 2017 Toyota Corolla LE, and our home, we recently discovered that our original vehicle was inexplicably removed from our policy, and our home insurance was never updated to reflect our recent purchase. This oversight is both alarming and unacceptable. Despite reaching out multiple times for clarification, we have yet to receive any clear answers or accountability from Aviva. The lack of communication and responsibility in addressing this serious lapse in coverage has been extremely frustrating. As policyholders, we expect professionalism and diligence in managing our insurance needs, but this experience has severely undermined our trust in Aviva. We urge anyone considering Aviva Insurance to be cautious and ensure that their assets are adequately protected, as our experience has been far from satisfactory.
DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY Do not go with this scam of a company especially if you like to shop around for better deals every year. They refuse to acknowledge a cancellation letter and once it’s time to switch companies they will take there monthly fee and once confronted about them taking the money that doesn’t belong to them they say the withdrawal bounced you didn’t have money in your account to take while you now have to explain to the new company why there money isn’t available WHAT A JOKE but like usual they do as they please and nobody can do squat about it
Aviva is very bad service they provide at all. I am using Aviva service all most 2 year. My policy was cancelled 2 times because of non-payment they didn’t informed me also every time they increased my monthly premium now they said you need to pay 1 years premium in advance. When i get the policy from aviva every time i pay 1st and last monthly premium. When i call to aviva they said your policy was cancelled due to non-payment I don’t know what’s going on where is my last month premium which you took at the starting of the policy. Now i face lots of problems to get my car insurance to other companies as well because of aviva. Aviva is very bad.
I’m insured through hagerty but AVIVA handles their claims I got side swiped on March 11 2024 by a transport truck and today August 26th 2024 my car still has not been repaired or even been closer in the process to repair every time I’ve called over the past 5 months I’ve either been lied to or strung along by the adjuster I took my car to one of their preferred shops thinking it’d make it easier on everyone instead they consistently blamed the shop for not doing what they’re supposed to do and then for not sending a supplement. I was in constant communication with the shop and AVIVA wasn’t returning calls or having good communication with them. The adjuster told me in July they still haven’t received a supplement so I went to the shop where my car was and they printed off and showed me the emailed supplement they sent AVIVA in MAY. After multiple attempts of escalation and never getting a supervisor the adjuster finally called me claiming she just got the supplement and she reached out to the appraiser for approval. And I was still being told a week after they are waiting on approval from the appraiser which never seems to be reachable.Prior to the escalation I’d go weeks or even full month with never hearing from them. one of the few times she called me after consistently escalating I told her that the shop can’t fix the car because they can’t get parts I was then told to call other shops and find parts myself. Okay I did that I found ONE shop willing to repair my car and she refuses to call me back after multiple voicemails. An absolute terrible experience trying to get anything done steer clear of AVIVA.
