I recently purchased a replacement vehicle for my old one and had to notify Hub International about the required changes to my insurance policy. I received assistance from Mr. Steven Hunt through the online services and cannot say enough about how much he contributed to making the process so much easier for me than expected. Mr Hunt assured me that I would have insurance coverage in time for when I would be picking up the vehicle from the dealership. In responding to his questions and completing the necessary paperwork, Mr Hunt was able to get everything finalized in time and before my appointment at the dealership. Lastly, I received a detailed email from Mr Hunt with the name and contact information of person who was assigned to manage my account going forward. I had the privilege to have Sarah Brown assist me on getting my new car insurance. She went above and beyond for me. Within 3 days time we had sent back and forth 33 emails. I had so many concerns and questions. She answered so fast, direct and very knowledgeable with the subject. Now knowing this experience, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I was starting to feel bad for asking so many questions but she never once made me feel like I was being annoying. I thank you so much for all that you have done to help me. Always a pleasure. Dealing with a recent claim and it was handled with care and competency when it mattered most. I was having an issue with the insurance company and I contacted my broker who promptly escalated this to their team and settled my issue on my behalf leaving me pleased with the outcome. That is the excellent service you would expect from a top notch insurance brokerage!
I was trying to just RENEW a Personal Umbrella Liability policy. The service I received (or did not receive), was so bad that I finally gave up. The agent I had, Steven Hunt, was incompetent in handling my portfolio. He didn't answer emails or took forever to reply, if at all. When I made an error and sent a correction, he said he couldn't find it although it was a direct reply to his email. No acknowledgement of emails or applications sent. I had to phone or email to see if received or not. This process started in April for a policy renewal for June. It took so long that the Insurance company cancelled my policy and renewal. I have never had such a frustrating experience. Don't use this branch if you want to purchase insurance in a timely, competent manner!
Where do I start? This office is so behind the times they still have the pandemic protocol on hold message. They are the worst example of how to run an insurance brokerage it’s unreal. I’ve called in 3 times to make a small change to my automobile policy and I’ve waited 35 minutes each time and finally gave up - and the option for a call back does not result in a call back. But here’s the thing: after the flood last week it would make complete sense for home claims to be overwhelmed. The issue is the system doesn’t allow for a selection between home and auto. The auto people shouldn’t be busier than normal. I cannot believe a company as prestigious as Aviva knows one of its broker offices is 2 years behind and clearly grossly understaffed.
