Good policy rates, but I needed to add a property to my insurance. I called the publicly available number, pressed one for quotes, and instantly got a human, who told me that they couldn't give me a quote on a new property. I got transferred and spent two hours on hold (two calls, over two days, 1 hour each), and have yet to speak to a human. Edit: Per the response to my review, I reached out to Derek and he quickly sorted me out. I've added a star to my initial review as a result. Thanks Derek!

If I could give Allstate 0 stars, I would. Long wait times for quotes, claims and client service. You may notice that all the positive reviews are from new clients. The sales team is ALWAYS available, but once you are a client, you can only communicate with the main client centre -- good luck with that! I filed my claim online and heard nothing back. Then I filed by phone and had to repeat all the information I had given online, and even after that, I heard nothing from anyone for another 3 weeks. I had to follow up. It took over 3 months to resolve the claim and communication was poor throughout. A different person on the phone each time and no responses, even from those I had communicated with before. Calls and emails went unanswered. I've been a client for 35 years and I'm shopping for another company. UPDATE: I found another insurance company and I'm saving a total of $1000 on my policies combined - I should have done this sooner. After I posted this review, the manager of this office called me back and did his best to help. Unfortunately, it was too little too late. He was very nice and if I'd been sent to him sooner, things may have turned out differently. It's unfortunate that clients have to go this route to get anything accomplished though. In July, I discovered that my elderly mother’s insurance had lapsed for many months. When I called to see what could be done, David Mason was remarkably helpful. He understood the situation and had compassion for the extreme worry this was causing my mother. He worked with the corporate ladder to reestablish a policy, in this challenging circumstance, within a matter of hours. I could not have asked for more caring and efficient service. I'm with Allstate from last 4 yrs. On Friday I called Allstate regarding my missed payment due to change in credit-card. Initially Allstate fined me with $100 NSF charges as an standard procedure(2 policies), but Georges Khoury helped me out. He understood the situation and handled it very professionally. He was incredibly patient, polite and was an excellent help to me! I'm very pleased. Thank you George!

Georges was amazing! After 2 weeks of calling the 1-866 number to get an explanation of why I am being harassed for non payment when the funds are available, he finally was the one to explain it! It's because Allstate no longer accepts debit visa. He was the SIXTH person I spoke to. It took that many times to get someone as competent as him. Each time was 30 minute wait time. So I should bill Allstate for 3 hours of my time they waisted. Scammers. THANK YIU GEORGES!!!! You saved me from the loop of doom I'd been stuck in.
