Jennifer Allin was awesome to deal with. i called asking for some advice with a claim and she was extremely attentive and made sure i was looked after. She was very friendly and extremely helpful. We need more adjusters with her positive attitude and dedication. Highly recommend!

The absolute worst experience with these incompetent and uncaring people. My adjuster was basically non existent for the majority of my claim. I tried to reach her for a week, as well as 3 other people including my broker, and no call was never returned. When she finally did call, it was regarding something we spoke about earlier and had zero clue as to what was going on. When it came to payment, I was told I can do auto deposit, so I waited the alotted 24-48 hours. So I had to reach out when it obviously never came, and was told it needed be sent to the address of the company the car was under. No one there had the common courtesy to call or email me, to tell me of this development. When I checked my phone to see how many times I had spoken with them, in a span of 2 weeks, I called 17 times, and my call was returned once. I wish I was making this up. Terrible, awful company. Stay far far away

Intact has the absolute worst customer service. Our brand new vehicle was hit by another driver. We were not at fault and they still tried to make us pay the deductible, they took 2+ months to fix our vehicle, stated that they were waiting for us to provide information when they had the police report and details the whole time. Our adjuster did absolutely nothing to help us. They refused to put OEM parts on our very expensive and new to us vehicle. They have no interest or care for their customers. I would never recommend Intact insurance to anyone.

11 days ago I was in a car accident. I was travelling west and a car travelling east at a high speed crossed into my lane and smashed into me. My car was destroyed. I have made many attempts to reach someone at Intact and despite leaving many messages no one at Intact has enough common courtesy to respond. Absolutely abysmal service.

“Oh, you want to cancel your policy? You shouldn’t do that, it will cost you a LOT of money in cancellation fees. How much money? Oh, I actually can’t tell you the exact amount until after the cancellation is finalized. But it’ll be a lot of money.” This is the line they feed you when you try to cancel. It’s complete BS, short rate cancellations are standardized across Ontario. But instead they try to mislead you so you won’t cancel partway through your term. Shady and borderline illegal
