Been with Yarmouth Mutual for 4 years. Wish had made the switch years ago. Jeff Smith is TOP NOTCH! Great personal service, and advice all at reasonable price. They just make it simple. We have them for home, auto and farm. Highly recommend!

This company has really terrible customer service. Our policy contained multiple errors. At signing, Cory, the agent did not ask us any questions but just simply transferred the old owners' information to our policy not noticing any of the many errors. When renewal time came she could not even recall that we had both auto and house insurance with them and asked for Auto information. She was very hard to get a hold of when we had questions. When we left voice mails with questions, asking for a phone call back, she would send an email days later, but would not answer any of our questions. When asked for a new agent to give us a new quote, they forward our request to the CEO. Right away it was clear to see the lack of conern from the CEO as after presenting my case and some of the errors on our policy and a genuine concern for the fact that we had no idea what our policy acutally was and what we were covered for, he completely dismissed our case. His solution to our concern was to continue with our current agent (because our policy was up for renewal in week) to provide us a new quote. I am appalaed at the lack of concern and resolution to my concern. When the CEO does not care about its clients it's clear to see why the agents don't. This disregard from the top down reflects a systemic issue within the entire company. While Yarmouth may offer competitive rates, the question remains: do you truly understand what's on your policy and what you're covered for? Does your policy have correct home information? My experience with Yarmouth Mutual suggests otherwise. Despite competitive rates, the lack of transparency, attention to detail and customer care make it difficult to trust their services. In light of this, I've switched providers.

Tyler is the most helpful insurance guy ever!! He is quick to help and has all the answers. I've been with Yarmouth for over 10 years and it was the best decision I made.

Our broker is very good, lowest prices we have had, and they are very accommodating to your needs. E-mail calling or driving is all good and quick help and information, very friendly people. I recommend to my family they are so good

Yarmouth Mutual Insurance, St. Thomas, Ontario. Can't recommend. Customer service is the absolute worst. Leave a phone message, they won't return it. Send emails, days will go by. Perhaps our business is not valuable to them. Small potatoes I guess. I subscribe to "how you do one thing is how you do everything". So thanks but no thanks, I'll pass.
