You can expect them to decline a renewal after 16+ years of business with absolutely 0 claims/losses to your name, after a single incident that only cost 1500$. It doesnt matter how long you are with them, if you lose them even a single dollar after being with them for 16 years straight to cover your assets they WILL drop you with only an email. Horrible company, i hope no one falls victim to them again.

I’ve been through hub for years, but a couple of years ago, my broker at the time (Mary-Anne) retired and handed me off to Stephanie as a client. The first renewal with her, my insurance was renewed through the same company that increased significantly in price compared to other companies, and I was told it was too late to change this unfortunately and we’d look to change it next year. Next year came around and I was renewed under the same insurance, so I called and was told it would be looked into. After looking into it, my insurance was changed to another company, and I was told a quoted price for a monthly rate. Once I received the pricing, it was completely different than what was stated before, and I tried to reach out to Stephanie since there was a limited time in which I could not change my insurance. She answered my first call, then continued to ignore my calls and avoid responding to my calls or voicemails, only sending me vague emails or after me continuously trying to reach out, other brokers solving the issues for me. Not only that, but lied about calling and leaving a voicemail after ‘not being able to reach me’ even though I waited by my phone for hours to make sure I wouldn’t miss the call. I understand that I am not the only client and that people are busy, but this was over the course of weeks and multiple times I would call the receptionist who told me she was free, only to hear 1-2 rings then immediately to voicemail every single time I call is absolutely ridiculous. I’m not sure about other brokers under Hub so I cannot speak for them, but I can definitely say from my experience that it is terrible service.

This week I had only two day to get an insurance policy. With in one hour of my voice mail Chantelle Oliver returned my phone call and in two days had my temporary insurance policy ready. I want to let everyone know how happy both my husband and I were. This is great quality work!!!!! Thank you we are happy clients

I see after 3 years the service still has not changed, I’ve been trying to get quotes on insurance as mine has gone up every year over the last 3 years and I’ve had enough so ready to change policies. I was told we have to wait until middle of August to look as quotes are only valid for 30 days, fair enough and I was more than willing to wait. I’ve been trying to get ahold of Heather since August 19th with very little communication back from her. I was emailed from her yesterday saying she “doesn’t recommend me switching companies due to it being so close to my renewal” if she would do her job and get back to me in a timely matter this could have been done 2 weeks ago, instead I am still waiting for emails/calls back and now fighting a deadline as I only have 10 days left to renew or change my insurance. Do better. Very slow to get back to you. Multiple emails and calls over the last month and still unsure if my new policy is good to go. Thinking I should have switched brokers all together to someone who has time for their customers.
