One star only because you have to chose one. Worst customer service I have ever had from an insurance company! I have been waiting since April 24 to receive a total loss replacement insurance cheque and have been tossed around and lied to repeatedly. 2 different insurance companies were tossed into the mix without my knowledge and Stratford is absolutely useless for any questions you might have or information you inquire about. I was told more than 3 times the cheque would be couriered to me and when they finally provided me a tracking number they boldfaced lied to me because the ticket had literally just been created and showed me it hadn’t even been picked up from their office yet. They laughed when I mentioned I had been told it was to be sent out the previous Friday, only saying they only send cheques out Mondays and Thursdays. So why then was my cheque sent out on a Tuesday? The ticket creates 10 minutes before I was sent the tracking number and MO ONE HAS ANY FREAKING IDEA WHAT THE FRIG THWY ARE DOING! NEVER AGAIN!!! Stay away!!! Useless staff useless information!!!

My husband and I cancelled our insurance with stratford about a month ago, unknown to us, apparently there is $100 cancelation fee. Rather than calling us to sort it out, they sent us directly to collections without any communication. Beware of this company. We are trying to purchase a house and their laziness almost affected our credit. Had they called, sent an email or letter, we would have sorted it out immediately. Stick with ICBC, somehow, they are still the better option.

Year over year 2023/4 to 2424/5 they nearly doubled my premium. As far as I can tell it's gouging. The broker offered no good reason than "we are seeing price increases across the board with Stratford." They lost my business this year. I went to another third party ins provider for collision and comprehensive.

Insured through Stratford as it was a little cheaper than ICBC. BIG MISTAKE! Once you have a claim you realize that you get what you pay for. Had a small fender bender when someone turned into my lane and then drove off. Stratford tried to deny the claim by saying I breached my policy with a technicality that they cannot prove. Then nothing from them for weeks, even when my broker from waypoint contacted them. Good insurance rates mean didley squat when they do not hold up their end. STAY AWAY!

Horrible insurance company! Won't honor claim! Waypoint Insurance (formally Allwest Insurance ) sold me the policy so never bothered checking reviews. Sure I might save a couple bucks on premium but as soon as I had a claim, , its' deny, deny, deny! I was hit on the front passenger side which completely ripped off the whole front covering, it looked like a sci-fi android character that had it's face ripped off exposing all the inner structures, wiring, etc. It broke the windshield washer reservoir and busted the headlight that had been replaced about a year earlier after someone backed into it. The driver reported it as his fault 100%. But they denied the claim completely as there previous scuff marks and dings on the bumper cover. I even told them I didn't need it completely repaired/painted and just wanted the washer reservoir and headlight replaced- around $400 for parts. Nope, it was just denied. I see now why they only have 3 stars!
