$400 for a 2007 Honda is crazy, because once they cancelled my insurance (without even emailing me that it was cancelled and I’ve been with Mitch insurance for almost 3 years) within a day I found another insurance for $200… After they cancelled it I still have to pay an extra $400 for the month I missed which is fine but then an extra $288, on top I have my new insurance to pay, then they send an email saying she (one of the employees) wasn’t in the office but why does that matter because I just needed an email about my cancellation and I’ve had multiple other employees help me so I don’t have a specific employee who helps me. They have a good rating but don’t be fooled it’s from 2020 their most recent reviews are all 1 star. I also had the funds to send multiple times but was told I had to wait for this confirmation email that did come. Edit: thank you I know I had an outstanding balance which was why I called twice and emailed regarding when to send the payment. I had 2 so I was told to wait for a confirmation email of when to send my other late payment and Ironically your job is to let us know any information that comes up but like I said I got a letter on Friday stating that my policy was cancelled since Monday so I was driving around without any idea my insurance was cancelled nor was I informed by any of your workers and like you said it’s your job to get that information to us considering I was paying $400 a month to not even get a confirmation email that my policy was cancelled.
The longest that I have ever been with a Insurance broker is 2 years. I have been with Mitch since I first found them in 2016. The difference you ask ? Other brokers treat you like it is a profound privilege to be accepted into their elite privileged realm. Mitch: Gives you the choice to stay with them or go directly to the insurance company. Actually enjoys helping you (krazy) and treats you like a human (what!?). Mitch provides you a service not a yacht club membership and they do it very well.
I was about to close on a refinance of our mortgage and the morning before our closing date I found out we needed overland insurance. Our insurance company didn’t offer that for our location so I had to find new insurance immediately. I used google to find Mitch Insurance and was connected to the lovely Amanda. It took us all day to sort it out but by 5:10 I had the binder emailed to me and we were able to close on time! Mitch Insurance I hope you celebrate Amanda… she is a stellar employee!!!
Ne. Never did I expect to receive the quality of service and customer service from Mitch. Sign up for Insurance back in April at which time the agent was extremely helpful and easy to work with. BUT THAT WAS THEN. Recently I had to switch my vehicle and this is when I realized that like the saying goes..."you get what you paid for". from being misquoted on my new premium (the basis of which I negotiated the price for my new vehicle) to now being informed that Winter tire discount does not apply as I have to purchase a separate pair of tires (because it was a policy of CAA) what I was never made aware off. I have been left totally blind sided and when I called to complain on 2 occasion's my call were never returned. Hoping that this review get their Attention
Highly recommend utilizing other insurance providers. Mitch was an absolute headache to deal with for 3 years. 1 right hand drive vehicle which I drive sparingly 3 months of the year I was initially paying 260 full coverage. However because I switch over to fire & theft in the winter as I do not drive the car my rate has shot up to 620. Absolutely 0 communication of this rate change from my advisor. 0 support and help. 0 info as to why my rate doubled because I don’t drive it ??Escalated the case to management it’s been 4 days now no call back. They’re quick to sign you up and take your money. That’s about it. When it comes to providing customer service and communication about your policy…..goodluck! My policy ends in August which I will be terminating my services with them. Avoid at all costs. You can source cheaper and better service literally with anyone else.
