First of all the insurance is cheap and available but now I'm changing the rating from 5 to 3 after having a bad experience. I was planning for purchasing a new motorcycle and I have requested a quote for the motorcycle and got it that time , later some time I requested for fresh quote, then I got reply that they are not issuing insurance for the particular motorcycle anymore and I had no information on it. What If I have purchased motorcycle without knowing that ? It would be a lot more for insurance with other agencies
Your insurance company refreshed my understanding and concept of the Canadian insurance industry! The broker or customer service are extremely poor and unprofessional! Don’t ever consider buy any insurance from this company! The customer service line are 40mins+ all the time and unprofessional! I accidentally scratched my car in the parking lot on June 7th. Because I was responsible at that time, I called customer service to ask if it would affect my insurance rate if I claim it. The customer service told me to call the branch who sells my auto insurance to ask. So I called co operator Thunder bay afterwards to ask if I claim it will affect my insurance rate. If it does, I will never claim insurance because of this. As a result, the agent over there promised me that because that was the first time and it will not affect my insurance rate at all! As a result, my policy was cancelled because of this insurance claim, and my auto insurance cost increased a lot. In addition, After the accident happened on August 17, I was scammed into the Ontario towing truck fraud. I did not choose your preferred shop, which is indeed a problem of my lack of experience, but what happened after that was a nightmare. The agent Michael Hall in charge of my insurance claim disappeared completely after the 17th. I couldn't get in contact at all, the phone couldn't get through, and the email didn't reply. It took 30-50mins every time I made a customer service call to get to the operator. I don’t know what went wrong. My car has been dragged for nearly half a month and has not been repaired. I called you many times before I figured out that you got the wrong email address, during the process, no one ever called to follow up the progress or was responsible. The car repair shop also stated that it could not get in touch with you at all. During this process, Michael only contacted me once, but it was only after I called another operator who urged him to get in touch. I have a video of the dashcam to prove that the accident was not my fault at all. Michael also watched the video and said it was not my fault, but he did not record the video at all. Every time I call another operator, The operator needs me to send the video again and explain the same thing again, and they said that your company system will automatically block Google so they cannot view the video. In this way, my car repair was delayed until September 13. I called customer service to urge the matter to be resolved again. They told me that Michael was sick and replaced me with the responsible claim customer service, Jordan Forkheim, although he never answers the phone but at least replies to emails. I have to send all the descriptions and videos here again. This is the fourth time I have sent you the same information. At this time, my car repair has been delayed for a month. After that, your staff did not conduct any investigations, or even tried to contact the police provided by me to get the police report. I kept contacting the police to get the police report by myself, which resulted in the reimbursement of the rental car. Afterwards, Jordan also confirmed by email that I was not at fault. It is also the reason why I felt angry after, On September 18, when I went to get the car, the car repair shop called me and said that I had to pay my deductible of more than 2,000. I told them that I was not at fault, so the insurance should reimburse it, and then I was waiting on the phone for an hour for your line. When the operator could see Jordan note that I was not at fault, she told me that they still cannot waive the deductible just cuz she can't contact Jordan. Then I spent another hour in the car repair shop and pushed customer service to solve it.
Loved the customer service and the Giovanni's attention to detail they provide along with the best insurance rates in the city. Being a new driver I still got a low insurance amount to pay which is great imo. Go ask for my man Gio over at their office on Memorial.
Co-operators insurance provides full vehicle coverage for an acceptable price. The knowledgeable and professional staff served my needs getting the necessary insurance at the best price. My advisor did an incredible job for me.
Scott was quick and professional on the phone in helping me update my policy, even got me a discount I didn't know I qualified for! Never a bad experience with these guys!
