I wish I had done more research about this company. They are the worst insurance company in the world. They are incredibly unresponsive, and the claim advisors seem uninformed. They never update or make changes to your claim, and trying to get in touch with them is a nightmare. Calling or emailing them gets no response, and you’ll spend hours on the phone just to speak with someone. Today, I spent an hour on hold, and when the ringing finally stopped, someone picked up the phone but didn’t say anything and then hung up. What’s going on with this company? They clearly need more employees or better-trained ones. It’s a huge mistake not to have a solid plan for hiring competent staff. Stop relying on referrals and hire people who are truly capable and dedicated to doing a great job. The claim advisors, if they make a mistake, will put the blame on you—that’s so funny. An escalation will be in the way by the end of the day.

I am writing this review to share my recent experience with AVIVA Car Insurance, based in Toronto, Ontario. I am deeply disappointed and dissatisfied with the service I received. From the outset, I found that AVIVA does not fulfill its obligations as stated in their contract. There were instances where I felt deceived as a customer. It seemed as if they were inventing non-existent rules that contradicted their own contract and the laws of the Province of Ontario. Moreover, AVIVA referred to some internal documents during our discussions. These documents were impossible for me, as a client, to see or verify. This lack of transparency made it difficult for me to trust their processes and decisions. In conclusion, my experience with AVIVA Car Insurance has been far from satisfactory. I believe it is crucial for potential customers to be aware of these issues before deciding to engage with this company. I hope that AVIVA takes this feedback seriously and makes necessary improvements to their service.

As a loyal Aviva customer for 4 years, I must express my profound disappointment. This recent claims process and subsequent complaints not only consumed a significant amount of my time and disrupted my work but also severely undermined my trust in Aviva. It is clear that Aviva's internal service issues and unreasonable practices are being unfairly passed on to me as the customer. For instance: * Terms were not included in the contract I signed. * The policy I received did not specify that I couldn't use OEM parts. After the accident, Aviva randomly cited a clause that I hadn't seen before and blamed it on the innocent broker. * Following the accident, I was forced to use aftermarket windshields, with various departments shifting responsibility. Given that my car is a luxury vehicle with advanced technology, aftermarket parts cannot guarantee my safety. * When I inquired about potential issues with aftermarket parts, no one could provide a satisfactory answer. * While my insurance has a $1000 deductible, Aviva intentionally capped the maximum coverage at $800 and limited labor costs to around $100. This is unrealistic for a high-tech luxury car. When I insisted on using original parts to ensure my safety, I was asked to pay the price difference. * I consulted with my broker, who informed me that, compared to other companies and under normal circumstances, due to the fact that my car is a luxury vehicle with advanced technology, it should be compensated with an original factory windshield. What I value most is service and attitude, but Aviva has clearly failed to meet even my lowest expectations, let alone those of the insurance industry. This ordeal has cost me half a month's time, which leaves me extremely disappointed!

This experience I had while my car was deemed a total loss with Manpreet Kaur was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. My new and future vehicles will absolutely be with another insurance company.

We had our car under their auto policy. It was parked on the road. Drunk driver drives the wrong way up the street and smashes into my car. There was video footage, police reports, etc but they REFUSED to help us, didn’t give us any money to get the car repaired, made our premiums go up as a result of reporting this accident which WE WEREN’T IN THE VEHICLE AND IT WAS PARKED LEGALLY AND WE HAD FULL EVIDENCE!!! They made us fight with the auto repair shop in another city to get our car back without any repairs done to it. We had to do the repair ourselves, out of our own pockets, and YET they still tried to charge us more at renewal. NEVER USE AVIVA CAR OR HOME INSURANCE!!!! Biggest scam brokerage that’s ever existed and you will throw your money away!! They won’t help you when you need it, will cause you headaches and more problems than they are ever worth. Nothing will be repaired and they just take your money each month without offering any service or help as they should. We had police reports!! Video footage!!! They still refused to help us repair our car. NEVER USE AVIVA INSURANCE UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY!!!!
