Would give zero stars if I could. Hit a deer on the 4th of July. Took my truck to the dealership to get repaired. It is now the 6th of September and my truck has been done for WELL over a month and this company will not pay the dealership. So they are quick to take your money but refuse to pay for any repairs. They should pay for my payment since I haven’t had my vehicle in over 2 months. They are scam artists
PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH CAA We've had a Premium Membership with CAA for 2 years now and used it for the very first time the other day. Our tire was flat and I called to have the spare put on. The technician said no to me asking him to put it on twice and insisted on simply pumping the tire full of air and driving on it. He said it would be safe, common practice, and because we ran over a screw it was acting like a plug and we could easily get it repaired. We get to a Mr. Lube+ tires 4 minutes away and can then see damage all around the tire and are told that its coming apart from the inside out. We called to complain because he had refused to put on the spare tire, which may have saved us having to get an entirely new tire put on. We were told that the damage was done before the technician had arrived and he had noticed it, and they were not liable. If that was the case, why were we told it was safe to drive on it and that it would be a simple repair if there was clearly visible damage to the tire? After speaking on the phone with the local branch 5 times about my complaint, I was interrupted multiple times, bullied, called a liar, and received overall astonishingly unprofessional behavior that left me in tears. The last thing the man told me was that if I told anyone about my treatment that "no one would believe me". At that point I told him I was done with this conversation and hung up. Please consider this if you're thinking of doing business with them. I had no expectation of them to reimbursement in full for a new tire. I just wanted to voice my concerns and maybe get a break because the technician made an irresponsible call. I would have even taken getting my alotted number of allowed calls reset because this one clearly didn't go well but was offered no resolution, and no apology, even after speaking with head office. Be weary out there guys.
Waste of time getting a quote for my house insurance today; they came in over TRIPLE the price what All-State ended up giving me - and about double what everyone else was offering me locally. Their home insurance rates are out of touch, I called about 15 insurance/brokers they were the most expensive by far.
Never waste time getting a quote from them. They are among others that are about 50% more expensive than other insurance companies. They said $200 per month for my car in ontario while other companies gave me quotes around $130.
I had the pleasure of dealing with Jillian recently for auto and home insurance. CAA's rates are considerably more reasonable than their competition (hence the reason I was there!) and Jillian's service was first rate! She's clearly well versed in the world of insurance and her service was very client-centred and friendly!
