Bought a new camper.I called to get a quote. Had to leave message with agent. Didnt call me back. I called again and he said would get price but again I had to call. I asked for some clarification on info again never called back. I went to another insurance company. I call Westland to cancel old policy on the camper we sold. Agent was to send form to sign. When it didnt arrive, I emailed, no reply. Finally I went to office and had to ask same agent again to give me paperwork to sign. I will never deal with them again, so incompetent and frustrating

I made a call to Westland Insurance Co. in Summerside to discuss our auto insurance. I spoke with Joyce Bulger, she was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining our policy to me. I would certainly recommend you speak with Joyce for your insurance needs.

I would not recommend this company. At initial contact, they requested me to fill out several forms of information, which I promptly completed, and I have a clean, A+ insurance history. I was then told I would get a quote in the next day or two and after multiple attempts did not ever respond back to me, even after I explained that even if they don't want my business to at least just let me know. I went with CAA and am very happy with the service and responsiveness.

When looking for auto insurance we filled out the online application. I called the Summerside location for 2 weeks as they are the only number listed on Google. For 2 weeks we got nothing but a run around and that someone would call us back. We never received a call. I finally got to the broker and they directed me to the Charlottetown number. I called Charlottetown to find out that they do not have our application active. They mentioned that they would call back within 30 minutes as they had to talk to their IT guy to find it again in their system. I never received a call back. I do not recommend this business or quality of business to anyone. They had all the numbers to contact both me and my wife and never did. If that is what they are like opening an insurance policy, I would hate to see what they are like when you submit a claim.

Had questions about my policy when I had a claim called in a couple times the lady I spoke with was friendly but she could not answer my questions she said she would have the owner call me I said I would rather not talk with him due to a past experience. A couple weeks later I got registered mail from him cancelling my policy . Very unprofessional. Worked out well for me ended up finding cheaper insurance. Stay away from this place.
