We are stuck with them for our work insurance. Had a work accident in July and I have been sending multiples copies of the documents they require but they constantly ask for more of the same documents. It's a mad house for which we pay a fortune and get nothing in return.
STAY away!! I am planning to CENCEL My policy. Other People are cenceling their policies.too. Bad ratings on online review platforms. My last claim wasn't paid. Even though I was not at fault, other drivers insurance company paid the damage, BUT Desjardins insurance didn't pay me. I need cancel and moved to another auto insurance company. Worst claim experience ever. Claim adjustor are real blocker for the claim to process.
SCAMS! The insurance Desjardins , DO NOT DO Business with them SCAMS!. I have bin paying home insurance $120 per month since 2013 I had a mini fire in my renal apartment located in the kitchen not much but the a easy way for my landlord to try and get a complete renovation for a 512 apartment, this insurance company would not help to relocate me or move and storage my furniture. Any ways the end result I lost a complete luctery 512 of furniture and now I'm homeless living on the streets of Montreal Thay don't care! SCAM!
Absolutely terrible experience. I lost my husband in July, and they made the whole process like a torture. They spoke rudely with me- the new widow, never returned calls, lied all the time, finally denied my claim with very funny reasons. It seems like they were looking for 5 months for any good excuse and used some nonsense only for not to pay. If you think that your family will be safe, because you did what they said in terms of your health check and monthly payments, look at me and think again.
Avoid. I had an accident with my car where the back bumper was damaged and needed to be replaced. The other side was completely guilty for the damage. ProColor has installed a new bumper and painted it. When we have got back our car, we have noticed that there are big gaps between bumper and car's body and the bumper was not attached properly by clips in some places. ProColor manager has explained that Desjardins has paid for non-original bumper that can not be installed properly because it doesn't fit and, ideally, original part should be installed. I have contacted Mr.Hurtubise and he has asked me to send photos with gaps that I did right away. Since then, there is no answer. I have wrote them another email but everything I get is automatic email that they are very busy and will get back to me. It's been 2 months.... Case number 82620191. I have 2 cars insured with them. Will be switching to another company. Avoid them. Leaving them 2 stars instead of 1 because I have been with them for 10 years...
