I've been trying to contact you for 2 months to cancel my insurance and they don't answer emails and even less the phone

Beneva double debited my account two different times. I waited for 90 minutes on hold for them to say "we're sorry" and :it was a technical issue" what a complete disaster of a company. I pay my premiums on time, every time and this is the pathetic level of service you provided. I can't imagine what any type of claim would be like with this incompetent company.

Since the merger of La Capital and SSQ, I have had the most unacceptable level of customer service experiences. I never had any issues with SSQ before. Just to provide you all with an example. I have been trying to reach the customer service line for the past 3 days. The wait time today has been 1hr30mins so far. The last two days brought me until their closing time, at which point they cut the line. I would 100% never recommend this insurance company, stay far away from anything that La Capital has its hands on. Good luck!

Solene Contreras is an absolutely useless employee. She had the audacity to ask me to go to a gas station and request video proof of an accident. Lol, nice. Ask your customers to do the work they’re paying YOU to do as a company. She’s also rude, seems like she has no idea how to do her job, disorganized, and if you don’t chase her down for info you’ll have no idea what’s happening with your vehicle. Honestly, the absolute worst insurance company I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They hire brainless, rude individuals that are incompetent to say the least.

WORST company ever!!!! Since they switched from La Capital to Beneva I’ve had nothing but trouble. Called to cancel apartment insurance because my intention was moving. They went ahead and canceled my car insurance without my consent bc they said I told them I was moving to Ontario. I said I do not have a place so I won’t be moving yet. I was hung up on twice. They wouldn’t reinstate my insurance until I changed my address on my registration and license to another one in Quebec . WHY…. Would I pay more money to change my documents when I’m moving and have legally 6 months to do so. Such a scam… no empathy what so ever and no care in the world for people, especially in the current circumstances inflation etc.
