This is a review in August 2024. The wait time is ridiculous, I have been trying to speak to someone for the past 2 days, over 4 hours of wait time and the call drops. We did our claim in August 9th right after we found out the water damages after the rain storm Debby, and no one has reached out to us. I know there are a lot of claims but 2 weeks is ridiculous, we don’t even even see our claim in the online portal, we only have an email. We were able to speak to someone last week who gave us the name of the person assigned to our case for her to say that she works on the auto department so she won’t be assigned to our case. No one has reached out to us, we have small kids and we can’t move from our house. Shame on this company, worst service ever.

Unreliable company. A "L3" agent (complaints) tells you that they are going to call you in 3 days and he never calls back!!! They offer you modifications/improvements to your policy that they DO NOT honour. Some of their agents are aggressive and impolite. They remove clauses from your policy without any justifiable reason: "because of your location." They increase the amount that you should pay to have additional coverage for certain type of event, but they don't increase proportionally the actual coverage that you would get in case of that event. Agents leave you on hold forever - as if they wished that you'd hung up in the meantime. The government should follow up closely on these companies that are taking advantage of people without being accountable to anyone!!! Regarding the Bureau d'assurance du Canada, you have to be lucky to fall on the right person. I spoke with an agent who seemed to be paid by insurance companies to protect them. Pitiful and unacceptable. Shame on them!

I opened up a claim and called my advisor multiple times to understand how much I am allowed to pay for car rentals. She never answered!! I also called for an update on the additional expense that the bodyshop asked for. They never answered! Worst customer service ever! I wanted to mix my home insurance with the automobile one that we have, but I will never do with this level of service!

Absolute garbage ! I don't think you understand how you can affect people's lives with your changes and decisions. I will change my insurance with another company even if it means to pay more at least it will be consistent.

Surely you don’t forget to charge my credit card on the first of every month. It’s been over a year now and no payment been made to the car rental company. Thanks for screwing up my credit score. For a year your agent kept lying about the payment being made. I guess I’m left with no option now but to go to RCMP because this is fraudulent and harassment. I liked TD been with them for over 12 years, but I guess now it’s time to change. Now I understand why people run away from insurance/policy dealers because they’re all scammer’s ☺️
