Just an awful place. Been with them for years (my mom as well) and honestly, they don't care about you at all. We are both extremely, and consistently, unhappy. They are CONSTANTLY overwhelmed and never call you to check up on you or discuss your insurance. Year after year, I get an email with "here's your new contract" with an 200-400$ increase than the previous year, without as little as a discussion, explanation or anything. They just send it to you like you automatically approve it. You end up having to email them back to, basically, force them to get a new quote somewhere else to get a better price. THAT'S LITERALLY THEIR JOB. To fight for you with insurance companies to get the best price. Instead they just wash their hands of it and hope you don't notice. If you email them back asking about this new price, it takes WEEKS for them to respond. I have endless emails in my outbox basically saying "HELLO?! Please note that I am STILL waiting for a response". After this huge rainstorm in MTL where loads of us got flooded, they never called to check up on us. Even their contract states "call directly the assurance" cause they clearly don't want to deal. It's a small detail but man, we have super busy lives and these people can't even do BASIC customer service. You have to talk to your clients maybe once a year. You would hope that a company would take the time to call and say "hey your insurance is up, this is the new price, would you like me to check elsewhere?" or "Huge storms last week. Are you ok? Can I help in some way?" It's their job to be the link between you and insurance companies. They do NOT do that. There's no reasoning (none) to pay these people. It feels like they just click "get a quote" on various insurance sites and fill out a form for you. Just do the work with the assurance yourself, because dealing with them means the SAME amount of work on your end as of you didn't have a broker. It took me a long time of patience to write this review because it was always "UGH. Whatever. I can't deal with now" But, since the storm and the fact that I found out that I AM NOT COVERED PROPERLY because of these fools. Now, I'm pissed. It shouldn't have been my job to know and understand what the hell I was signing to. As Civilians, We hear "if you take this off, you'll save money" You think "oh really? I guess that's good" But no. it's not good. It's THEIR JOB AS BROKERS to say "this will save you x money but do think about this because this means THIS situation or THIS won't be covered. What if we try something else or another company?" Instead, they respond with "well you told us you wanted a deal so we removed it." or worse when you try to express that you are disappointed that you didn't get better advice from them and now you have to pay out of pocket (30k thanks) PLUS an increase because thousands claimed from the floods, they respond with ""well, I'm going to have a higher price too next year because of the floods". Irresponsible. Lack of Empathy. Unprofessional. Seriously. Do not. Do NOT hire this company.

Mohammad Taebi (my broker) is professional and very precise in his work. He knows his job well and his follow-ups are excellent. He is very polite, and I enjoyed working with him. I am very satisfied. 100/100

I just wanted to give a big shoutout to Jgfortin, specifically Mohammand, for their awesome service! I'm an English-speaking client, and I couldn't be happier with the way they handled everything. First off, Mohammand was super patient and careful in helping me out. He took the time to really understand what I needed and made sure I was comfortable with all the decisions we made. I've got to say, I trust this guy. Mohammand made me feel like he had my back the whole time. It's a great feeling when you know someone is looking out for your best interests. And the follow-up? Top-notch! Mohammand kept me in the loop at every step and made sure I knew what was going on. It's nice to work with someone who's so on top of things. Plus, his positive attitude made the whole process a breeze. He's always got a smile on his face, and it's infectious. I felt like I was in good hands the whole way through. So, if you're looking for a broker who's patient, careful, trustworthy, and just all-around great to work with, definitely give Jgfortin and Mohammand a try. Worst broker ive seen for a long time, they make mistakes over mistakes and never call back and reply to emails,

Horrible place for buying your insurance with. Last last choice. Especially the mister called William. Avoid him!!!!! I bought both my residential and commercial insurances from him for 2-3 years already. He never cares me if it is about CALIMS. Once, he replied my messages for my commercial claim after 2 days, with a ridiculous excuse: “there was a client who needed a new car insurance, I had no time for you.” This week, I was planning on canceling my commercial policy with them, and asked some questions, William told me that “it was a common sense”. He was not willing to answer my questions. Would tell everyone I know to avoid this place. Please avoid this place.
